I beg to differ. Just because someone is a good skier, regardless of where they come from, doesn't mean they will automatically be able to rip in pow and on big mtn lines. You say every trick an EC rider does must be calculated, which in most cases is probably very true. However, you fail to realize that most in many cases, big mtn lines must be even more calculated. Knowing your line means hitting the cliff at your desired spot and using your intended landing. Not knowing your line could mean certain death as you accidentally mis your proper take off and hit a much larger portion of the drop that ultimately has a rocky landing.
The bottom line is, I have respect for riders from all over, but just because you can land a cork 7 on ice, don't assume you can easily make the switch to killing the big lines. Some may have the ability to do this, but not all I assure you.
