The park crew wants to build big features, especially jumps but apparently peak resorts and the crotched manager wont allow jumps bigger than like 35-40' I think. This year they actaully put work in. Once the temps dropped in NH they built all 3 parks in about 2 weeks which was about 30-35 features in total. Its fun but my friends and I progressed to the point where its fun for 2-3 hours. They let it go to shit really early but I think theyre getting more serious, they just need more features and a better jump builder, the park crew aside from the groomers 2/3 volunteers. Toward the end of the season it became my place to ski after school and then Carinthia all weekend. If you can next season, try going in late February when everything is built. Im gonna ski there weekdays probably, I have a feeling theyll take it seriously, especially if the winter is better here, plus they have a kinda pro skater on park crew who does better than the manager and actually builds stuff and maintains it.
