i feel like boiling water isnt nearly hot enough to affect that. after all they are SKI boots. they can withstand the opposite end of the temperature spectrum, why not boiling as well.
well considering various parts of boots are heat-molded with lower temperatures than boiling water, I would be pretty concerned about getting them that hot.
besides, since when has an objects ability to withstand either heat or cold mean that it also is able to withstand the opposite?
the liner is heat molded at a fairly low temp. i dont know how you could mold plastic at boiling temperatures for water. it would have to be considerably higher, near the melting point of the plastic.
