Dye Full Tilt tongues

Does anyone have the link for the page on how to dye your fulltilt tongues..cant find it and i heard it was there...much appreciated

Wouldn't the process of the putting the tongues in boiling water to dye them change the integrity of the tongue, in turn changing it's flex?

no- dyed full tilts last season with no change whatsoever- as well as a few kids at the local mountain doing the same

i feel like boiling water isnt nearly hot enough to affect that. after all they are SKI boots. they can withstand the opposite end of the temperature spectrum, why not boiling as well.

well considering various parts of boots are heat-molded with lower temperatures than boiling water, I would be pretty concerned about getting them that hot.

besides, since when has an objects ability to withstand either heat or cold mean that it also is able to withstand the opposite?

the liner is heat molded at a fairly low temp. i dont know how you could mold plastic at boiling temperatures for water. it would have to be considerably higher, near the melting point of the plastic.

Yeah but the change from 30F to -20F is not anywhere near as much of a temperature change to 312F. 50F vs. 282F......

as long as you don't bend and flex them right after you take them out they'll be fine. just don't mess with them till they're dry

i have this years booters and i wanna dye the toungues a royal blue. would that be lighter or darker than the orange the toungues are now?
