i was thinkin of dulling my edges, just under the bindings, for jibbing rails. ive heard of snowboarders doin it, but i was wondering if anybody has tried it with skiis?

Damn straight things are happenin' in the midwest!

I was thinking about that 2. but I've been wondering. How does that help with rails?

'O really?!'

spoon edges!!! it probably would help but then you sacrifice perfomance on snow.

ooor..you can learn to do them properly so you don't catch edges..

Learning a new trick is like swimming in the ocean. When you feel the water it's cold and uncomfortable, but once you're in, how sweet it is.

if you ever read transworld you'll realize that 95% of snowboarders dull the edges on their rail boards...so its gotta be helpful.

It's also good because you are less apt to rip your edges out of your skis. Dull (rounded) edges = less catchiness + more consistent grinding + longer lasting edges (that won't cut butter, but they'll keep your skis together!)
