It's a great setting for a trip. Ck5 throws down the craziest lights for phish, always enough to blow your mind. Even at the phish shows you still have to know your shit when your buying stuff. But still didn't feel like an acid trip so Im still thinking dob, and there is still a good amount going around these days on blotter.

you should have hit up the fall tour, cheapest of all of them. I was getting tickets for 15-30 to all the shows I went too. Only made it to 7 this year though. So many were not that far from me, but I just didn't have enough friends that could afford it. Def hoping for some solid touring next year.

Acid its self can not kill unless in extremely large doses. People often die from acting reckless because of the psychedelic effects. Also LSD is often mixed with other more harmful substances that can kill.

If you have an addictive personality and use drugs there are risks there. There is a fine line between drug use and drug abuse. If you are one of the people that can control their use then props to you, again I have seen a lot of people fuck up their life with drug use.

And I didn't bring any hate to anyone except to you because you annoy the hell out of me, I don't know exactly, maybe because you are a snowboarder and even being here makes very little sense to me, or the fact that you seam to know everything and in actuality you don't know shit. Other people can back me up on this one. I also hate your user name/icon so maybe I am having some subconscious hate.
 
Wow, for all the hate you dropped you are crazy ignorant. Your whole view on drugs is based on ideas that are not actually backed up by facts. You yourself have almost no experience in the drug world, and really don't seem to know anything about it.

Why are the people that drop the most hate always the most ignorant people. "but this is not the norm in my experience." You experience is next to nothing.

If you think the drinking and smoking all the time has helped you be successful then I concede to your argument. This is why companies drug test people (another reason I don't smoke very often or do any other drugs) if people could be drug users and be productive then whatever but in most cases they cant.

Again I drink pretty much every weekend and I know it has limited my potential. I also know that I would have 1/20th of the crazy stories I have if I never drank.

Again, everything in moderation including moderation.

People get pretty pissed when you challenge them on their drug use. Sounds like people trying to vindicate their own vices and shortcomings.

I knew I would be playing devils advocate in this thread. If you want to keep doing drugs go right ahead I don't care. And of you are successful in your life props to you. I just don't see the appeal. And I have taken mushrooms and smoked quite a bit so I don't need that lecture. No doctor is going to suggest you take LSD. In my opinion, regular use, does nothing but limit your potential and ability to process your environment.

LSD is one of the cleanest, safest drugs out there, provided you have no underlying conditions. You can't OD and die from it. Acid will NOT kill you from high doses. Are you serious?

i wasnt going to argue your reply but these two sentences are just not true. there have been studies on tripping that have had extremely good results. the problem is that the stigma around drugs like shrooms or acid have made it so studies on them have been extremely rare since like the 60s or some shit.

btw acids extremely similar to shrooms ( i cant think of another pair of more similar drugs, besides obviously some opiates are really similar) so if youve taken boomers you have a decent idea of what acid is like its not insanely different
 
You yould literally have to eat multiple sheets or drink vials to die from lsd. EWven if you dropped thousand of doses, I still don't know if you cna reach the lethal threshold.

I will say this, the first time I did LSD wasn't even to get high.

I had a massive migraine and my buddy had an extra dose he was willing to give to me so to speak cause it was originally designed as a migraine medication. They just didn't realize there were hallucinations as side effects.

I stopped smoking and taking chemicals years ago, and even then, I did so on such an irregular basis that they had no effect on me in the longterm. I've taken it as a tool for my music and writing and that's as far as I'd like to go with it. This isn't about accomplishments or drug use. This argument is about your terrible understanding of how drugs and people work. Yeah sure, people die from being reckless on LSD...
Far less than people die by texting while driving, or drinking, or playing with guns, or using machinery, or walking across the street.
Just because you die ON something, doesn't mean it's the drug's fault. It's yours for not being aware or your surroundings or being able to control yourself.

Which is what annoyed me in the other threads. They called me out, said they hated me and what not, posted dumb images, but never disproved anything I said.

If somebody knows that fact's and can debate you with relevant evidence that's actually fund. But when they call you out, and can't go any further, that's just lame.

Tasche was the biggest one doing that. I posted several times that I was actually looking forward to him pointing out all the "flaws" and whatever else he said about my statements.

He's ignorant, not a fan in anyway of open minded thinking. If you are thinking open minded, than anything that you believe really falls into question. It comes down to more environmental factors, and what you have been taught/ molded into.

I still don't hate tasche. I don't hate anyone. His hate was unwarranted. Don't post and then freak out because you don't know what your talking about.

Never dropped any "facts" anyway, just saying it is irresponsible to say that everyone should go out and do LSD. What crap am I saying? That using a powerful mind altering drug is something that should not be taken lightly and has the potential to put you on the road to failure?

I have seen it, had a lot of buddies who I feel were hindered by drug use. Multiple alcoholics and drug users in my family, I know how bad it can fuck up your life.

So if you want to experiment with LSD be careful and think of the consequences and if you are one of the people who smokes every day really think if that is helping you be the person you thought you could be when you were a kid.

If anyone does do ether, make sure you have absolutely nothing important to do. Unlike me, I was in the middle of an organic chemistry lab and one of the reagents we were using was diethyl ether. Needless to say, it made the lab a lot more difficult than need be.

You specifically said people die from lsd usage. That was quite specific to that particular drug.

More where people run into problems is from using all the time, or ingesting very large doses. That can be a problem with any drug. If used responsibly acid can be an amazing thing. Actually open up more doors for you, not close them.

Besides you admitted to not knowing but about lsd and never trying it. So why do you keep posting as if you do?

 
I did think you could overdose from LSD, it seamed logical. I will concede that it is not as dangerous as I originally thought.

I was just trying to temper the ultra pro drug culture which is a dangerous point of view in my opinion. I know that when I was on mushrooms I was ok for a little bit then I thought I was going to die and was so worried that my parents were coming into town that weekend, it was a terrible experience. This kid named Joey did them with me, loved them apparently because he kept doing them and eventually failed out of school.

You guys need to get off your high horse of calling everyone who against doing LSD closed minded. You are abusing a substance to have a good time. And again I know several people that have really messed up their lives, starting with booze, then weed, shrooms, LSD and eventually needle drugs and things like meth. I know gateway drug is cliche but I have seen it happen. Now the people did make the decision but I feel like the drugs amplified their addictive personalities.

I don't need a degree. I've done far more than read "A few internet papers". Reading the historical charts. The output of mining companies, the amount of certain metals used in industry. The probable supply in the world. One of the men I follow Peter Schiff accurately predicted the housing bubble in great detail, the fall of the financials, the recession.

I was incorrect when I said a lot of people die from LSD a year, I cant find a figure at all so the number is probably very low.

However reading some of those case studies is disturbing. A woman beheaded her own baby during a "bad trip" There are a lot of cases of jumping suicide. Some gun deaths. Never felt like I would do anything like that when I was drunk or high.

We could probably argue his side better than him. I've always thought that was fun. I took a debate class once. Even if you have to prove something you don't believe in. You just research both sides, figure out which route they're going to take, find all the holes in their argument, and facts to back up your statements.

Tasche actually believe he knows what he's talking about when obviously he hasn't done any real research. Yet he's calling people out and dropping hate on them for being pussies or not knowing what they are talking about.
