Yeah. For the record I wasn't even trying to bicker with the kid. He just started trolling for me and posting dumb stuff. Like on the last page. He quoted where me and posted how he hates me and all this shit. All I was saying was I don't like to have sex when I'm tripping because something with the physical contact or something freaks me out a little bit. I like My own space.

But like I said, I went snowboarding twice over the weekend had a great time with friends. Just on ns again, waiting for more snow and the weekend. Son't see why people go around hating.

Bottom line, lsd isn't for everyone. Put It can be an amazing/life changing experience that opens your mind. Gives you a new perspective on things.

has anyone encountered a random dog while on acid?

I was tripping in the avenues of slc one morning at like 4 AM walking around and shit when some stocky pit beagal mix tore out of some bush and ran straight at me stopping about 5 feet away. If i took a single step it would lunge at me and i could tell by the way it wasnt breaking eye contact that he meant business. I am stunned, i swear the dog knows i am tripping out. The son of fuck owner of the dog sits there and yells at the dog, but the dog gives no response, finally he gets off his fat ass and has to physically pull the dog away into the shadows. My mind was blown, so many emotions, and that dog had more hate towards LSD than the fed.

anyone else have a similar experience?

First time I did bong rips of weed a buddy of mine was driving me back to the dorms and about every 10 feet I saw this brown and white short haired sheep dog running across the round, from right to left. Yes, every time it started on the right side of the street and ran to the left. I got so scared.
 
yea but dude its easier than you think to slip into a bad trip. i've done it a couple times, and loved it every time except for the last one. it was the hardest i had ever tripped and i had a great time. i thought the trip was on its way down, then i smoked a blunt, and for some reason the trip just came back hard, and it scared the fuck out of me. like i usually love smoking, but i was tripping too hard i guess and so smoking was just too much for my brain to handle. like i would forget what i was about to say mid sentence when i was talking to my friends. it became really scary to be around people, i don't even know why i just got scared every time i saw someone new. for the first half of the trip it was awesome because i was all excited and i still had a pretty level head, but after i smoked i just wanted the trip to stop so i could relax and function properly.
idk man, if any of you wanna do acid, just make sure you have something to do thats way fun and don't let yourself get into a situation where you could get scared, especially don't let yourself be around people that scare you (basically anyone that you don't want knowing that your tripping). i would recommend going for a long ass nature hike with some close friends, but everyone is different festivals are good too
 
Acid is crazy and awesome and scary at times but if you got a good head on your shoulders its fucking awesome, chances are if you didn't like acid your probably a douche. douches shouldn't do acid cause they wont be able to deal with themselves while there tripping. Or you had some dirty acid. I tried acid for the first time this summer and I was on a different planet for 12 hours and at some points like when I thought I caught on fire it sucked but that wasn't my fault it was my brothers fault who was cooking on a propane stove and almost set the forest on fire. Just think of having to deal with that while your on acid. But after all that went down I chilled out again and saw the faces and ET and alligators in the campfire. I was camping by the way.

Weed can have that psychedelic effect. I don't smoke that much anymore, just cause sometimes the weeed would make me feel like I was tripping. I know when I would eat mushies I would smoke a bunch a little way in and that would really kick off the visuals. Both of the drugs can combined together. You might have already peaked, but getting crazy high added enough to it that you were messed up again. And nature hikes and festivals are mad fun for a first experience.
 
Why don't you post to tasche. HE's the one in this thread that already stated he doesn't like it or want to try it. Therefore he has nothing to contribute, and all he has been doing is dropping hate.

Other people in here were actually having a discussion about lsd.

I wouldn't get into it. It can be sweet. But It can mess you up. Taking to much of that can easily fuck you you up.

You also need to watch out for bad pressies going around. It can be fun, but I don't think I'd recommend it. Just be safe.
 
especially hallucinogens. Concerts are also a great place to do drugs but i like doing molly for shows havent really done acid at a concert yet. Hopefully when phish comes around next summer Ill be taking doses for sure
 
Probably going to get hate for this but here is my 2 cents.

I have had a lot of friends go down hill pretty hard from drug use. Everything from alcohol to meth. Doing acid once or twice isn't going to kill you (although it could) but why? I have so many friends who could have been doctors, engineers, lawyers who now have communication and resort management degrees. All they did in college was drink and smoke.

So health risks aside, drug use of any kind is going to limit your potential. NS is pretty pro drug but I would seriously consider taking any drugs suggested on here because you just might like it.

That being said I smoke probably once a month and get trashed most weekends so I cant really talk. Everything in moderation, including moderation.

some of the most intelligent and prosperous people i know do much and many more drugs than i could ever think of doing.

moderation is your friend with anything.

and to the rest of your post, no offense but you sound like a dare officer telling kids that everyone who smokes pot will drop out of high school. if your friends "couldve been lawyers" etc and didnt, that is a decision of THEIRS, and it does not mean that 1) the drug caused it, or 2) its necessarily a bad thing that they are not lawyers or whatever. meth, crack, heroin? might mess your life up. acid? give me a break
 
yep. I had a buddy who wanted to be a pediatrician since 6th grad. Super smart kid, went up to CSU started smoking weed every day and experimented with some other drugs (mushrooms and acid I think, not really sure) graduated in 5 years with a resort management degree. Working in a dead end job a food distribution place for 35 a year. Still lives with a roommate he is 25.

People have their own definition of success but I don't consider that a success.
 
the subjective definition of success is a moot point. the fact is, the drugs did not do that to your friend. your friend made decisions. he also happened to do drugs at one point or another. should i list people i know that kick ass at life and do tons of drugs? would that make sense as an argument?
 
just saying drugs will limit your potential in most cases. Take that as you will but there is a pretty good chance I have a lot more life experience than you do. You haven't seen what long term use can do to people.

And drugs definitively limited my potential. Imagine how much I could do if I wasn't nursing a hang over most Sundays. I see weed as being a lot less than alcohol but if you smoke a lot you seam to "slow down". I know a kid that graduated with a double major in 3.5 years who smoked every day. Super smart but talking to him, he was a bit slow conversationally.

We all have that buddy who can take drugs all the time and is successful but this is not the norm in my experience.
 
acid is good. i like it.. never had a bad time.. but shrooms are crazzzy!!.. if you eat a large amount.. iv had a trip that was life changing. seriously
 
i mean sure thats true. but what does that prove? there are millions of other things that "could limit people's potential" that dont have the stigma drugs do. especially acid

And even more ignorance"drug use of any kind is going to limit your potential" that's not true. Drug use and drug abuse are different. Read about people like oliver stone, who's life was change for the better by lsd. If you've seen any of his movies you can see how his use of lsd affected his directing style.

Acid actually opens your mind. You start to open the third eye e little bit. It changes what is possible and what isn't. If done right it is a pretty amazing thing. Obviously taking to much of anything isn't a good idea usually. If you squirt 20 hits of liquid into your mouth that probably won't be good, but that's not the drugs fault really. You just have to use it responsibly. It's a tool, a very valuable one.

As far as drinking I've had many friends get pumped. One friend was dead, and they revived him. That doesn't mean alcohol is bad. You just have to be careful. And it's actually far more dangerous than smoking.

was it the drugs that changed his mind or himself? im pretty sure he decided he didnt want to be a pediatrician anymore, I said I wanted to go to outerspace and be an astronaut, but my interests changed I still don't know what I want to do. 25 isn't that old, 35 grand a year isnt that bad for a 25 year old not great but you can live off it. and my aunt is 40 and she had a roomate till she was 35 and is pretty sucessful and lives in a nice apartment in a nice area of San Francisco which isnt cheap.

Im not saying drugs are for everyone but i think those people who have gone through that door of "lsd" they will think a little differntly about themselves and life after the experience if there ready to use it as a learning experience. Granted LSD doesnt make you smart but it does make you see the world in a completely differn't way you never thought possible. literally its like taking a magnifying glass and turning it upsidown on your world. If you can even understand that which you probably can't because only people who have done LSD actually understand.
 
im 21 almost 22, i smoke all the time, drink, and do acid occasionally, and there is no definition of success its the most subjective thing ever. for the purposes of this post ill say that i want to and will make enough money to live comfortably and have a family etc, but also have a sick ass time and give back to society, hopefully in a big way. thats success for me i guess
