Does your life suck?

just because there are people 5 thousand miles away who have it worse does not mean you cant be depressed. i dont think very many people say they have it worse then africans. but if you have been depressed and on prozac its still hard to realize that you have it so much better then africans.
 
i think one of the points of that site is to open peoples eyes and help them get out of deppresion and make them realize that it could be much worse.

yeah i really doubt that. look people, i know that people all over the world have it much much worse than us, but that doesnt mean that we should feel that guilty about buying things that we desire. the message of that presentation is to show us how lucky we are, and how we shouldn't take that for granted. it isnt as you said "for all of the greedy bitches who buy new gear every year".
 
that viceo... i dunno about you, but on my computer t wasnt a video.. it was somethign i had to read... and look at pictures nohting where a couple people act out problems and show you other stuff with moving pictures and audio.. this was a presentation dumbass, go back to english class because you haven't learnt enough yet... dumbass

i feel guilty about the fact that in my experience i have learned i need more than i really do, and i also think about it conciously everyday about how or what i can do to make myself more compatible with the other 6 billion ugly hairless monkeys runnin around on this rock

It def depends!!! If u think pure economical than u are damn right. But if u talk about depressions, not respected I think it like hell here. Ppl are way more selfish here than in africa or other poor countries. Idk nothing about there situations looking at their feelings and stuff. But I do know that seeing they have it way more worse is such a big word and there are so many factors involved that u cant answer the question with NO or YES

Exactly. Most of Africa is so fucked up that if you sent money it only goes into the hands of the dictitorial leadership and never reaches the people. I have friends that live/lived in Africa and say it is really fucked up...not even worth helping.

Depression is a disease. A true case requires medical treatment to restore proper neropeptide reuptake, no metephorial slap on the face can cure that. That video was a guilt trip, nothing more.

i have a friend whom is emo, and he has had probably the worst life ive ever heard of.. so he has a reason to be i guess.
 
Even that, but feeding them for a day? Woohoo now they can produce more kids and live in even deeper poverty. I have said it many many times, sending Africa food is going to absoultely destroy them in the future. We need to get them technologically stable, and sending all our medicine and money is still keeping them primitive and producing more children. Education, industrilization, transportation, etc is what they need, not just food.
