as I said there are many factors in this matter.
But the thing is sending them food and clothes and stuff doenst really help him in the future. Also sending money isnt the best way, coz u dont give them the ability to get an income thats enough to support their families and most important to save some money and put it at the bank. (more money on banks means more money that they can lend to other ppl with less interest, and thats what they need coz with high interest they cant lend the money coz they dont have more money than for buying food).
So the thing to do is invest in agriculture plans or some low intensively industrials (more intensively companies need highly educated ppl and products that they cant buy in these countries, so they dont employ ppl that are living in that country or buy products from that country, so that doesnt work, well only for the west). So support companies that employ local ppl and companies that need products than can be delivered by that same country)
So if u are planning to give money these countries be sure to give them to funds that will asure that these ppl wil have a better income in the future so that they are less dependent. And thats better for them, and us.
