did he drop out of school or something?

He was in breck at the begining of the season.

Skiied at PC filmed with 4bi9.

Competed at Joss, skied in Are.

Put out wild backyard edits.

Went to Saas fee.

Moved over to hood, filmed a jiberish edit.

took off to NZ where he is now...

how does he do it?

i dont think he was out here very long early season, i only saw him like once, where as andreas and jon id see almost every day.

honestly, Henrik loves skiing more than almost anyine i can think of

when he arrived at the Jib Academy in Mammoth, after not being able to ski for a few days, he hiked up the run apon arrival at about 7 pm and hiked a little rail for a few hits till it got dark and he couldnt do it anymore,

he is always just soo stoked to be skiing, that is why he is gonna go so far

would you ever take a break from skiing if you didn't have to? He probably go something set up where he can do independent study stuff (a lot of athletes that re still in school do that).

So true. Henrik is the man. Such a good attitude. Always getting up to the slopes early and making laps all day long. Its so much fun to watch him ski damn yo.

word dont be hatin on detroit, most of it is actualy bearable untill you realize your in the midwest and its flat and cold as fuck

drop him in the hood and he wont.

but anyway who gives a shit about ow he talks, hes fucking good at skiing and thats the only the only things that matters.

he is one fucking talented kid, i've got alot of respect for how hard he pushes himself. can also see the huge influence that mik d has on him, great to see

No, Henrik did no drop out of school. However, he does attend an academy that allows him to travel throughout the winter.

Before spending a couple weeks in Breck, Henrik competed in Freestyle.CH, King of Style in Stockholm, and did a rail jam in Zurich after skiing 7 days at Glacier 3000 in November.

After Breck, he found a ride to boulder and filmed handrails for a week with Stept. I didn't see him again until US Open where he couldn't get enough speed for the jumps, but decided to throw his tricks anyway. The day after US O qualifier, we skied Keystone from 9 till 4 then drove him back to Breck where he built a backflip jump with Oscar and sessioned it until it 7 or 8pm. With Aspen O the following week, he chilled in Breck, skied everyday, and hitched a ride in the truck of Hath's car to Aspen. After he couldn't register for the contest, he spun laps and made a sick rail edit. As soon as finals were over, we drove to Salt Lake where he slayed handrails with 4bi9 for a few days. Then Gahhblin convinced him to go to Jackson Hole where, much to Henrik's dismay, there are no handrails. Rather than take a bus back to SLC, he stayed in Jackson and stomped two of the rowdiest tricks I've ever seen in the BC. But according to Henrik, "ahhh, not so good, not so bad" After Jackson, he drove back to Colorado and competed in the North American Open. After North American he went to the European Open and Placed 6th. After the European Open, he competed 9 Knights and placed 1st. After 9 Knights he went to JOSS. After JOSS He went to Mammoth for Jib Academy, After Jib Academy he went back to Sweden, slayed some backyard rails, then went to Hood to session Windells and filmed with Level 1. After Hood he went back to Sweden, then flew to NZ for the NZ Open and BOOM, ended up in a few edits.

The answer is no, Henrik never takes a break from skiing.

Keep in mind the contests and photo shoots that I listed are just a sample what he told me about and mentioned in this interview. Knowing Henrik, he did far more this winter than we know. If you get the opportunity to ski with Henrik, go say what's up. I guarantee you'll be stoked after spinning a lap through the park.

the Salomon Bomb Drop, it never got released to the public, but it was by far the sickest thing I have ever seen in the way of skiing outerwear

in the REAL hood you can do whatever you want, if you have/get respect you're fine, if not you get punked, thats whether your actin a fool or a perfect english speakin intellectual from princeton.

Why the hell would you take a break from skiing if you had the opportunity to go about doing it all over the place. Or just at all for that matter.
