I sure as hell don't but I was thinking if a lot of people do because theres like no people who don't have a religion

im in what my religion teacher calls a transitional period. i am trying to figure it out. its so confusing.

word...and when u think about all the shit that had to fall perfectly into place for us to exist its kinda mind boggling so im not sure but i still lean athiest with slight spiritualities (like buddhism's middle path concept)

i dont really, im an english religion(anglican) so its hard to really do anythin over here in the us and my dad isnt religious at all(even tho my religion comes from him), but yeah my parents rnt religious so i guess thats why im not

Im unitarian universalist. We basicly learn about all kinds of other religions then dicide what we personally belive in.

Personally I belive in a god as like a force that rewards you in the long run for being good or punishes you for being bad. It is like heaven and hell but in life not after life. I dont belive in God as a physical being and I dont belive in fate.

yes. god is real. jesus was god's son and he died a man's death so that our sins are forgiven if we choose to accept him in our life, wether it be on your deathbed or when you were 6. of course it is impossible to prove that god exists or doesnt exist. believing a matter of faith and trust. i dont believe in the adam and eve story. i believe god created evolution and however the world and life started god made it happen.

yeah I do, I just like to think that there is someone in control of all the chaos that goes on. it was also how I was raised, so I have been around it and basically is what I know.

I believe that there is a higher consciousness beyond the dimmensions of our universe or 1000 universes. I believe that there is no objective truth in society, but that there are objective truths and laws in nature. These laws (there are a bunch- gravity, thermodynamics, the truth of these laws that hold the universe together) were given by this higher power to be conducive to the great objectivity of out universe- love. It is the one truth that holds up against everying and amoungst every person and thing in the universe. Our life is a gift, and it was given out of the love of the higher consciousness. As for the origins of this higher power- it just is. It is and was and has always has been. It is beyond the scope of anything we can ever imagine or wrap our minds around. I could go on for easily another hour, but I'm going to go outside and enjoy the sunshine.

In my mind, there's no fucking point in talking about god or religions, they just ruin peoples lives. There is no way of proving or disproving the existence of god, and to the kid who said his teacher thinks he's in a transitional period, well that's just the teacher wanting the kid to start to strengthen his belief in god, no matter what he says otherwise.

I am agnostic, with a hint of athiesm

ag·nos·tic ( P ) Pronunciation Key (g-nstk)

n.

One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God.

One who is skeptical about the existence of God but does not profess true atheism.

well your quite going back on your faith there by only accepting half of 'god's story', and by your own religion, your goin to hell dude

I don't believe in terms of god existing or not existing...it's far too hard for me to explain how I tackle this issue on the internet.

me too, and it makes my religion teacher mad because he always tries to prove that he/she exists, which is impossible

YES how can people not believe in God or some higher power? Some one had to create all of this some how it just didn't get here!! Stupid people in this world!!!!!!!!!!

i would be a contextualist(you believe some of the stories and stuff, not all of it).. but yea, i believe in god

i believe whats in the bible. i believe that there is a supreme God who created an earth for us, but since we fucked it up he sent his son to die for us so that we could still have eternal life with him. he lived a perfect life but was killed anyway, and carried all our sins with him. all you have to do is believe in him and you will have eternal life, but too many idiots think their too good for that.

I don't think that it matters whether or not I believe in a God or not. If there is infact a huge Godlike force in this world, I'm fairly certain he would prefer me to not worship him or even acknowledge His existence, but instead to live this life to the full extent of my being.

i believe in a god, but not like christians believe in it. i think there is definitly something above us, but i dont think we can even comprehend it. i dont think its something that looks like us. some kind of different creature that created us, or that we are inside.
