by what logic do you separate a Supreme justice from a president? Both have massive amounts of power, and ability to effect the lives of everyone.
 
how can a old man tell someone that they cant have an abortion

im gona make t-shirts w/ a coat hanger inside a circle w/ a slash if abortion becomes illegal

 
becuase its an important issue that the candidates disagree on and it would affect the lives of many women depending on who is elected?? seems like something that should be talked about.....
 
I really do not think it is something that should be handled at the Federal level. Let the States decide.
 
i agree...but it's still important for people to know, who don't already, where each candidate stands on the issue...
but it certainly does not need as much time for discussion as the economy, healthcare, iraq, energy, education and everything else that is fucked up
 
The issue is a personal issue unique to every American. Everyone keep personal shit to yourself and problem solved.

 
I understand that it can be important to some people, but in the grand scheme of things it really is a minor issue thats only brought up because special interest groups on both sides push it.
 
McCain is a madman, who wants him representing us on an international level? Not I! I would rather we save face with a calm, level headed diplomat like Obama. But the real breakaway star of tonight's debate is Joe the Plumber. He no longer has to worry about his plumbing business, because he is now a celebrity.
 
boy, i'll tell you what, imho, (and i will probably be voting for mccain on mostly fiscal policy alone), obama just has these sort of things down. he should have the majority of the undecided vote after that performance.

good for him, the man can speak, even if he's not necessarily making the most logical or direct points. he won that shit in style, no doubt.
 
These debates just provide stupid people with bad information. "I think i'll vote for Obama because he's a better speaker." Damn right he's a good speaker, who else could call the largest increase in welfare a "tax cut for 95% of Americans?"

I agree.. McCain saying that he will freeze spending will do more to keep money in our pockets and stimulate the economy than Obama and all his programs to do this and that.

i thought it was a more balanced debate than the past ones and overall a better debate to watch.

but yeah both sides had good points, but i know what side i'm on and i know the reasons for it.
 
the channel cspanjunkiedotorg or votersthinkdotorg will have it split up in to 9 or 10 segments by tomorrow morning, i'm sure other channels will also have you covered soon too.
 
I found myself drifting off as I watched this debate. Pretty sure they only repeated what was already known, yawn.
