DC PEOPLE IN DA HAUS!!!

For those of you who have been to Liberty in the past week, what are your general thoughts on the west side and east side park setups?

I was there on Thursday the 30th. I thought the rail set up was solid. Whatever the last flat rail/box feature was was set up very well.

Larger jumps would be good, but that is probably out of your hands. The two that were set up last year in the park to skiers right of the lift were pretty solid.

Thanks for putting together a solid park with limited resources.

The down rail on the second set in west side, or the flat one at the end?
But thanks for the input guys, I do plan on building vertigo this week, now that we made it through that little heat wave I plan on pushing more snow to the top of vertigo to build the jump larger and give it some pop. There are still some new things to come, and some of the odd ball stuff will be getting moved around a bit here through the week to keep things interesting.

i haven't been since tuesday of last week, but the very last hit on west side, on the left. that flat bar was so perfect.
also, you guys are killing it with those down rails. they are set up super well.

on a different note, met some guy who works at whitetail's park. he insisted that WT's park was better than ours. i told him he was either intensely slow or that he sucked at snowboarding. i was right on both accounts.

i'm hitting up lib on friday and saturday possibly. and i got a backyard setup for whoever wants to hit it up

just got off the phone with one of the park crew members(snowboarder)from whitetail. Apperently they rebuilt the park and apperntly it is "legit".

my brother was just there. he said it was the same.
also, LOL@ halfpipe.. they just want it on the brochure

last year we did heavenly, northstar, and alpine. This year i think were doing Squaw, Kirkwood, Sugarbowl, and either Heavenly again or Mt. Rose...we wanted to change it up a little this year

Keep your eyes open for Liberty this weekend. They pounded some snow last night and we are planning to add and move some stuff around starting tonight into tomorrow. Looks like a fun setup in my head.

the day we were going to do Squaw it was gusting 60 at some of the peaks so most of the mountain was closed so we went to northstar for the trees...yeah we havn't 100% decided where were going yet but mt ros's chuts look sick

just did a night sesh at whitetail, there park suck huge cock. the trials were all good tho lol.

Supposily tonight they are rebuilding the whole entire park

hey evan, my only gripe is that the hybrid flat bar isn't in a super hittable location.. i really like that feature, it would be cool if it was in a line with the down rails. speaking of the down rails, they are sick.

i hear not being able to get enough speed and hitting the knuckle repeatedly is the new style in these parts.

thats pretty much it

i learned that you have to start a bit out of the park to get anough speed, but then you end up being cut off by people that dont know what "next drop" or "dropping" or i call the ficking drop, dont cut me off"

Snowshoe's park however, i really good right now. The second jump in Spruce Glades is super nice. They built the park up from the WV open last saturday and have kept it nice!

Yeah I know what you are saying Aaron. I do miss the hybrid being where it was myself, however we just couldn't make it fit with the addition of the wall at the bottom there. We are going to continue to maintain the sets in westside for the time being. I am still working on vertigo and just getting snow stacked where it needs to be. Adventure alley is getting rebuilt this evening and then we will double back into west side next week for some modifications.
The vid you put together was sick man! I'm stoked to see you guys shredding it up hard. Sorry about the missing cap on the donkey rail, that made for a funny intro.
