Crystal Mountain 2011-2012

If the forecast is close to right, the snow gods will be showering us with a plentiful gift from the heavens this wednesday.

Strait off crystal's website! whos going up on friday?

ASSUMING THE FORECAST WILL COME TRUE, WE ARE PLANNING TO OPEN ON FRIDAY WITH LIMITED OPERATIONS!! In order to open on Friday, we still need another foot of snow but we're pretty confident we're going to get it. We are planning to run the Gondola & Green Valley chair on Friday and tickets will be reduced to $35. We hope to open more lifts on Saturday. Stay tuned for further details! Updated: 11/15/11 11:24 a.m.

If there was a list of things I did not care about, this would be on it.

The idea of giving $35 of my hard earned money to that bunch of tight-pant cum-tasting dildo-collecting vagina-dragging loopy nosed fuck wads, is enough to make me puke.

I am afraid of being bullied when i post in this thread, but let me be ignorant and naive, let me learn on my own the treachery of crystal as this is my first pnw year.

Having said that...

See you guys saturday!

I think Ima be there Saturday. Anyone know whether the half-price ticket deal is going the whole weekend? It seems to be mainly connected to the super limited Friday opener...

Lol so tempted to talk shit back to all these Stevens children. But trolling only begets more trolling.

To anyone going up this weekend seeya there, should be sick if the temps stay down!

Oh I dont doubt my faggot ball licking status when I go to crystal. It's a necessary evil. Its kind of like cocaine, I do it because im hooked, not because I support those murdering Venezuelan drug lords. Either way, I try to minimize it, but some of you seem keen on having resort dick slammed down your throat as much as possible~

considering riding tomorrow or monday (tomorrow for fresh snow monday for more chairs). anyone interested in carpoolin from seattle?

Opening day at Crystal this morning was intense. waited an hour in line to ride the gondola up, then had to wait for 30 mins in line at green valley after each run. sucked so much, they should have had more lifts open. i don't believe crystal thought so many people would be there. Oh well, the pow was awesome.

Such a sick day today, pow was absolutely blower. I was in sessions suit yellow/black jacket with blue pants and rockin some mcconkey tribute pontoons. Anyone peep me up there?

I'm pretty sure I saw you.

But today was awesome until like 1. We cut into the trees in memorial and ski patrol stopped us. I don't have my employee pass yet & I didn't have money for a ticket, but I managed to get on the chair without a ticket. But when the patrol asked for my ticket so he could take it I told him I must have dropped it and I didn't have one. So he told me I was going to come with him to the bottom and get charged with criminal trespassing, so I dipped out and hid in the trees & took my jacket off and went to the base. They never caught me. Pussies.

Ha patrol are so easy to outrun and hide from. It's kind of funny actually, and almost always the right move. I had just dropped in below a roped off area below a cat track and a patroller came up and yelled so I just peaced down into the trees. Fucker grilled my friend who hadn't dropped yet and threatened to take her pass. They never bothered me again and I decided to stay off roped shit for the rest of the day.

Just remember guys, ducking in-bounds ropes is now a misdemeanor in this state. I have no idea how it's enforced, but it definitely means the patrollers have absolute legal authority now.

two things:

The patrollers at xtal that I know would absolutely catch you if they wanted to. They are way better skiers than you will probably ever be, and I can say that without knowing how you ski.

second,

not sure when ski patrol became an accredited law enforcement agency...

clarification: i rode up the gonj-ula with the PR lady for crystal and the King 5 news guys. the new law allows patrollers to enforce the $1000 fine/misdemeanor charge for ducking permanently closed (cliffed out/avy prone areas).

this doesnt apply to in-bounds roped off areas as far as i know

hope that helps

Maybe I shouldn't have made a blanket statement, but the guy who yelled at me looked like one of the older guys who usually man the speed signs.

And I guess where I was going with my post was that who else is going to do anything about enforcing that? My guess would be that they take down names or something and turn it over to law enforcement or something. Doesn't make sense to me but it does make things a bit more potentially serious.

when we went ob those turns were sooo dope! sucks there were too many slides so we had to get out

Fucking crystaltards talking about numbers that haven't happened yet.

Seriously, we all know what NOAA is, and most of us probably check it a dozen times a day. Not all of us are dumb enough to copy and paste every time we see two digit numbers. No need to talk about them. A simple "Excited to ski Wednesday" gets the point across. Idiots.

That didn't take them long.

POSTING NUMBERS IS A GUARANTEED WAY TO YIELD THE OPPOSITE (this of course only applies when the forecast is for large amounts, not the other way around).

When it rains 5 inches, I will laugh.
