Yeah, i said it. EVERY time im on NS i see a thread either in ski gabber or ski equipment "OMG WTB CROWBARZZZZ" or "NEW CROWBARZZZ SICKTERZ!". I'm fucking sick of it, THEY AREN'T THAT COOL AND ARE OVERPRICED. end.
 
i personally think they are sick and you guys should just worry about what you guys have. just ski for the sake of having fun.

and let people who like (Crowbards?) wear them if they want to
 
Oakley is a great company first of all. I never really liked the crowbars a whole lot. They look cool and have great features but they never really fit my face and I was never a huge fan of how they looked. I love my a-frames though.
 
Honestly, what other options do you have if you want a high quality lens with a big frame that can be worn with a helmet? Smith.
 
Personally, I think crowbars are fucking dope. But I dont have the cash to drop to get a pair. And I love my soldiers.

Ive never had any goggles as sick looking, as solid, with such a good vision field and as comforatble than my crowbars. Plus, they never fog. Crowbars > you
 
spy is where it's at. they make dope goggles and the joeys havent caught on to them yet becuase they stilll think oakley is the best thing to ever hit planet earth. DOnt get me wrong oakley gog's and clothes are sick as shit but I'd probably chose spy over oakley
 
Best post in this thread, I personally rock Spy's as well. I don't hate Oakley, I hate how everyone loves Oakley for some reason. But it's better that everyone is not wearing the same thing, so I will continue to love and wear my Soldiers.
 
i really dont understand how you can hate on oakley for making the best three goggles on the market, hands down. nobody else makes a goggle that has as good a field of view as their stuff while still making a nice, optically clear lense that fits a lot of different people really well. my a frames dont fog up, ever.
 
not really, its my opinion, and in my opinion I think crowbars look like shit with helmets because of their size and shape. I myself rock anons and love them, and the next goggle I would like would be spys but yeah i'm not a fan of crowbars, other than the view they have which is amazing they dont even fit my face that well.
 
Everyone in this thread who said "they are the best goggles ever, you don't know what you're talking about" that is pure opinion. In my personal experience, i hopped on the aframe bandwagon when i was in 8th grade? and they were shitty as fuck, fogged all the time, etc. Then i got anons, loved them, now smith, which have by far been the best goggles i've used. I'm not hating oakley or the crowbars, im hating on you kiddies sucking on oakley's dick for anti-freeze crowbars for 150 bucks. And if you like them, fantastic, buy them i don't care.

i have crowbars, but i got them for free and they fit my face. is that enough reason to like them?
 
the soldiers are a dope goggle, i have pair of those as well. I also just got a dope pair of crowbars and they're pretty f'ing sweet.
 
its not fucking opinion, no goggle has the same field of view. its not like people just buy em cause of how they look. i think they look sick, but i know a ton of people who think they look like shit. but their quality and field of view is simply unmatched.

whats really gay is people like you who choose NOT to buy something like crowbars simply because "everyone has them" thats a really immature way to think about shit and to just ignore a great product doesnt make any sense.
 
I don't see the logic in this, unless you are a communist and want total conformity on the slopes. Each of us is an individual, and therefore should have our own unique ideas and opinions. On this site however, there is too much dependance upon eachother for "what looks cool" or "what's the steeziest goggle." It's fucking ridiculous. Grow the fuck up, learn to make your own damn decisions about what you like and not what everyone else likes. I don't wear Oakley and I think rap sucks, flame me if you want, but at least I'm more original than a lot of you.
 
thats totally cool, but im saying soo many people out there choose not to buy something for the sole reason that a lot of people has it or "its played." i just think its redicolous to ignore a great product simply because of those reasons. maybe if you spend a lot of money on something, and it performs terribly you have the right to dislike it, but solely hating something because a lot of people like them is wayy lame.
 
I actually don't buy them because I get free goggles.

As for field of view, scam. All this bullshit about spherical lenses and shit is just a marketing scam to get 16 year old kids who think they are super smartz to buy 150 dollar goggles. You might be able to see an extra foot? You're gonna turn your head if you wanna see the rock to your right when you're skiing, so whats the point?
 
And are you serious? Over 90% of people who buy goggles buy them because of how they look.
 
I was more refering to the younger people, 12-19 not some old guys who need to wear their glasses in their goggles.
 
so is it wrong for me to say they are shit and are way overpriced? when oakley makes a sick graphic on crowbars they dont change the price do they? i dont really think you should be talking about crowbars being overpriced then
