Alright, I understand that you needed to wait to see your numbers, but there still should have been a pass, not a punch card, since it only really ran a month and I know its expiring next weekend, so if you screwed up a little with the pricing on it (too low-too high), I would've only been for a month. Still, its good to hear you guys are looking into a pass.
Also, I understand that you can't tout pros when they haven't been signed yet, but it should have been arranged sooner so the "pros" would attract people? Additionally, will there be ski pros?
It's not just the over-safety of the facility that makes it uptight. Its the fact that you have dumb class-ropes to prevent non-customers from chilling with their friends while they're clipping into their skis up top, for instance. I get it, you want only paying customers to use the stuff, but you do give people wristbands, so you can easily call someone out if they try to use a feature, but just let them chill on side and talk to them.
I got called out from standing BEHIND the rope watching my friends, I mean really? People actually learn more when they're having fun and messing around, chilling with friends, not "training", and making people go to a special observer section doesn't help. It seems like Woodward views itself as a training facility, not as a fun place where friends can progress. (I know you'll disagree with this, but its how I feel when my friends aren't paying for it and I am and I have to be alone, because they can't hang out up top). I've learned stuff and been stoked on it for sure, I'm not a negative person (believe it or not), its just a bummer when your friends can't see you. Also, and this is kind of unrelated, but its a bummer that you can't use the skate drop when you pay for a skate session. That would be one of the advantages of paying 10$ to skate over say, Frisco's Skate Park, besides the weather factor. I'm just throwing it out there for a suggestion.
Yeah, I assumed I talked to the wrong person, I know who Ben is, I'll talk to him next time I see him. Thanks man.
