Cop uses taser during traffic stop

i bet most of the kids will be like, "he shouldnt have! blah blah blah!" fuck you, these idiots and brotards deserve it.

he was resisting arrest, cop pulled out taser, guy started to walk away. what did you think was going to happen? by the way dont act like tasers are terrible, they cause no damage you pussies.
 
wtf, cops are fuckin pigs, i got a ticket for drinkin when i was completely sober. They wouldn't make me walk the line, take breathalizer or listen to anything, i would say a fuckin word, they would straight up interrupt me. I should have just told him i wasn't signing the ticket and ripped it up
 
The Officer made that problem. Had he answered the man with a legitimate response like you were going 60, everything would have been ok. But since the cop either A was being a dick or B decided to pull him over for no reason he couldn't answer and thats what provoked the response.

unfortunately, in america, these men and women are appointed to"protect" us. because of that, they are essentially allowed to do whatever they want, as seen in this video.

a man just died in a vancouver airport from being tasered. Tazers have been marked inhumane by the UN and we are basically giving our officers weapons that electrocute people. but yes by all means "they cause no harm"

You mark my words, tazers will be out of the police weapons arsenal by this time next year.
 
i think cops should be tazerd before they are given a tazer, so they know how serious it can be, and they can know when it is really necessary to use it.

 
Yes that may be true but there were some mitigating circumstances that caused the Polish dude to die, I forget what it was, heart condition or drugs of some form.

This situation was a little bit of both of their faults, the cop was being kind of a dick initially but I think he did well at the end explaining why to the wife and staying calm. The guy turned around to leave, had his hand in his pocket and looked like he was going, he didnt respond to instructions. The cop could have beat him down instead, would he prefer that I wonder.

Tasers save lives, I think that its good that cops have them, i would rather take 20 seconds of pain then get beat down by 4 dudes for resisting. Yes tasers are less lethal weapons and should be only used in dangerous situations, not as a punishment, but they are still safer than physical force, rubber bullets etc.
 
I concur one guy died, bullshit, think of all the guys that have been tazered and havent died. they say to drink water people have drowned from drinking too much water, you gonna make water illegeal

Since the invention of the internet people have seen a handful of idiotic cops posted online in youtube or on any other file sharing site. Automatically these dumbass kids (such as yourself) have come to assume that all cops are idiots. I actually know a handful of fantastic cops who love their jobs and are generally all around nice people. Your comment is like me saying all human beings are rapists and child molesters just because a few people in the world have been caught raping children, how much sense does this make? i love how everybody hates cops, do you people actually think things would be great without them. Its the idoits who dont know how to follow rules and have no respect that this shit happens to. All you have to do is do what your told and act like a normal person. Yes, there are some cops out there who are completely rediculous and have the power trips, but all you have to do is follow the rules and you wont have to deal with them. And if you get a bogus ticket, challenge it. by the way, to carry a taser, you must be hit by one. stop hating on cops, without them things would be soo much worse
 
whether or not all cops taser somebody, the fact remains that a large amount of the american police force is made up of people with power, control and race issues. police brutality is an everyday thing, i dont know why everyone assumes that everytime a cop oversteps it gets on youtube and he loses his job. bottom line, dont give them tasers, or guns or anything. i live in new york and last year we had a guy break out of prison. the cops cornered him, but he shot two of them and got away unharmed (though he later got caught). a few years previously, four cops shot an innocent black man to death because they thought he was going for a gun. he was going for his wallet. after they asked him for identification. our police force needs serious changing, cause right now, theyre pigs.
 
a large amount of cops DO NOT hav the problems stated in the prior post. I go to a police academy, and im one of the most laid back guys you could meet. I am not power hungry, full of myself, or racist. ALL cops do their job to make life easier for others. Thier may be some who are jerks, but not a large amount. Just think though, if you had to deal with alot of scum for your daily job, dont you think you may get a little irritated when people dont listen.
 
^all right,good points. i guess you guys do have to put up with a lot of shit, but i still think that there has to be a better way than tasering or mace. we do need to do something about that, and cops could be a lot more chill, but thinking about it, i dont know how id handle being in a rough situation. and not trying to be a dick, but do you find it ironic that your avatar is a public enemy thing and you go to a police academy?
 
sign the ticket and argue about it later. no need to be a smart ass, then disobey an officer. i wouldn't be walking away from a cop when he has a taser out, so for all i care he asked for it.
 
That was a total abuse of power. The guy did nothing wrong. All he is accuse of is knowing his rights. Just because he didnt want to sign a speeding ticket does not get you arrested. A taser can ONLY be used as a last resort before using a weapon. I hope this pig get punished and give an apology to the poor man.

 
wow, half of the people posting in this thread are just making up their own rules about cops using tasers, writing tickets, etc.

I will agree that the cop may have used excessive forse, but that's only like 1 minute of pain if you think about it, nothing long-term. and the cop may have viewed walking away as "resisting arrest".
 
anything can kill. what would you rather be, shot? clubbed? sprayed with mace or tasered? i'd personally choose the taser. watch the video after he tasers the guy, he's still fine enough to keep questioning the cop.
 
Tazers are issued to police officers, so they have some backup to protect themselves when things are getting out of hand or too violent. The key word in that sentences is backup. I would also say the man in the video was not be violent and the police office could of easily grabbed and put cuffs on him. So to all you people who say he deserved it or they have a right to use tasers on people like that fuck you, because that was not why the tasers were issued to police.

or if the cop threw him to the ground and he was a hemophiliac, or if he used pepper spray and he was allergic to it. stop with that bullshit logic. tasers have saved more people than killed.
 
I like cops because they help protect people in some cases, but the majority are just total pricks and are too stupid to be allotted any authority.

yeah i was watching this "future weapons" on discovery channel and they used this tazer that was the same power as one now, only it shot from a shotgun and didn't have wires attatched. they shot it at this like 350 lb. body builder that was ripped as all fuck from like 25 yds. and it put him on the ground crying and it locked up all his muscles. tazers are pretty serious, and i think cops overuse their power wayyy too much sometimes...

there was some girls fighting at my school the ther day and our cop cam down to stop it because they would not stop and the one girl ended up geting tazzed it was pretty crazy
 
oh and that cop def. did have a right to do something. but not fucking taser that guy! what the fuck dude, all he had to do was walk up to him and restrain him. but instead the first thing he does is whip out his taser. what a fucking dick head. although the man was in the wrong for not listening to the cop, he did not deserve to be tasered like that. like i said the cop coulda just walked up to him grabbed him and restrained him. but he decides to fucking tase him. THEN, if you notice while talking to the other cop, he lies and said he told him if he didn't listen the next time he was gonna tase him BULL SHIT YOU FUCKING DOUCHEBAG, YOU GAVE NO WARNING OF FIRING THAT THING YOU JUST DID IT!!!! he fucking lied about it i swear that is fucking bullshit. i hope he gets some type of suspension without pay or some shit, fucking cock sucker.
