Cop uses taser during traffic stop

i entirly agree with him. the cop gave him fair warning to stop what he was doing, and to turn around. he didnt, so he got tazered. fair is fair.

what if the guy went into his car and grabbed a gun?
 
The dude wasnt complying in the car, not agreeing to sign the ticket saying he was going 30mph over the speed limit, and when he got out he was walking away holding out his arm for some reason and thats when the cop told him to turn around (which he didnt). The guy is guilty, thread over

I can take a lot of pain, and getting tased isn't something I ever want to feel.

you can't just say someone deserves this kind of treatment because they were acting like a tool. this is america, not a military junta. people have the right to make an ass of themselves and not have to fear getting 10k volts of excruciating pain.

 
ok... first off... the guy is with his wife and kids and gets pulled over for a speeding violation. he wasnt doing anything wrong he simply asked why he was being given a speeding ticket for he believed he had not yet reached the 40 mph sign (perfectly logical, nothing violent or disrespectful or wrong about it) the cop reacted with a "how dare you question my authority" piggish type attitude... and told the guy to get out of the car... at that point he was going to arrest him which is rediculous for the man had done nothing wrong... he simply questioned what he was being accused of....

the man wasnt even walking towards his car... so i doubt he was dashing away to grab a weapon... he was simply backing up from the cop who had a fucking taser pointed at him... and i know the fact that he was with his family doesnt rule him out of carrying a weapon but cmon now does this man appear as a criminal? no... so why should he be treated as one...

it was quite an UNFAIR and unjust situation... a perfect example of police using the thought that anyone may possibly have a weapon as an excuse to abuse his power...

i dont give a shit that doesnt give a cop the right to use force on a common man with his family for questioning a speeding ticket...

you do have rights as a citizen ya know...

i still think the guy deserved to be tasered for being an idiot, but it turns out the cop could have written, "refused to sign" on the ticket and they would have been on their merry way.

The guy who got pulled over should have simply listened to the cop. The cop may have been high on his horse, but that idiot came up fast behind the cop, started to walk away, and would not listen to anything the cop was saying, so he got tazed. Instead of fighting his ticket on the road and with the cop, he should have just taken the ticket, drove away, and showed up on the court date to argue his ticket. That driver was a moron, why would you walk up right behind a cop then start to walk away when he tells you to stop? I don't get why people think that arguing with a cop will get you anywhere, because most likely if you argue and don't listen, you'll end up like this guy.
 
yeah the guy was dumb, theres no doubt about it

the problem is that cops treat tazers like TV remotes. the tazer is not there as a tool of convenience. it has its time and place, and this was not one of them.
 
im not totally possitive that guy could have even seen the sign, concidering teh cop was parked right in front of it. cars arent teh easiest things to see threw.....
 
a cop tried to do that to me one time. He was waiting BEHIND at a 40 mile per hour sign where it changes from 55 to 40 and he pulled me over and said i was going 61 in a 40 and i said no I started slowing down as soon as i saw the 40 mile per hour sign, and he said well oh there was a sign earlier that said to reduce my speed and i said oh sorry i didnt see that, but i saw the 40 mile per hour sign and i started slowing down as soon as I saw it, and then i think he realized how much of an asshole he was being and he was kind of getting intimidated by me because i was 110 percent confident that i didnt do anything wrong and he knew it so he backed off and was like "alright well slow down next time"

what a fag eh?
 
That hole thing was fucked and that guy was deff power tripping. He shouldn't have teasered him for that and the hole time he never he said how fast the guy was going. I bet the cop is no longer working. I hope to fuck he isn't
