I like to think of it like this,
God, if real, doesn't want us to know whether it exists or not on the simple matter that if it does we'll just be like, O RLY? HEAVEN? OKAI and then kill ourselves. Thats not what its about. Its more about using the faith we have in religion/God to live good lives.
And like I said before, people tend to skew the point that the bible/Quran/Torah is trying to make. They're all just different versions of "How to Live a Good Life for Dummies."
More to the point, Thug, I respect your opinion on the existence of God/A Higher Power, but let it be. We're not discussing God, we're discussing contradictions in the bible.
That and God/Allah/etc. are all just labels for the omniscient creator that all religions believe in.
Leave it at that and get back to the discussion of why the hell the bible contradicts itself so much.
