how many mountains does utah have over 14,000 feet? do you have any lifts running in july in utah? yay! they get more snow who gives a fuck, as long as the ground is covered and you're not hitting rocks then it doesn't matter. closer airport? what does that have to do with skiing? maybee you didn't know that most ski towns in colorado have airports. There is nothing that utah has that colorado doesn't, nothing.

colorado has a-basin and CB. neither of which compare to Alta.

I've been to both and I'd say colorado... but the last time I went to park city or Utah was 3 years ago when the park was horrible. Plus I didn't ski Alta.

winterparksux: crested butte is a sick mountain. i go there like every year cause my grandparents have a house there. i basically learned to ski there. awesome back country and an sweet park. never been to utah though.

man this is stupid. If its a big deal get a place at grand junction or somewhere else on the western side of CO, or the eastern side of UT and just drive across. its not really THAT far to go and you get both. Plus, it then not to bad to even head up to WY and hit J-Hole
