Color blind tests

oopsies, the rest of my post didn't go up. Man that sucks being color blind, what kind of color blindness do you have? I almost failed the vision portion of my license because I have no depth perception :P
 
nah, it's not bad being color blind, you have better motion perception and night vision (because your cones are just replaced with rods). I always destroyed everyone else playing games in the dark because I'm colorblind.
 
but you're now allowed to enter military sniper training and you have a considerably better chance to join the Navy Seals.
 
i failed the ones thy gave us in 4th grade. its like a circle of different colored dots and there was a number in it. yeah it sucked.
 
I just found out that i am red/green color blind. I can only see the first one. I cant even see the one im supposed to see as well with my color blindness.
 
wrong. im in the army and i know more than four guys who are red green color blind. one of them wanted to go air force and fly but they wouldnt let him do that. you can definitly be in many branches of the miltary even if you're color blind
 
yeah, as sniper_6 said, you're def not exempt from the military (except air force) if you're

color blind. 100% of US snipers are color blind and I read a

statistic from the Vietnam war that most elite US soldier units were

color blind because they could spot camouflage better and had better

motion vision.
 
Thats odd, on the 6 circle test, I got more right than I was supposed to, and I got the last test right too, but I know I am red-green colour blind.
 
most color blindness is actually not related to the eyes it has something to do with the inability of the brain to remember colors- apparently most color blind people can see color (ex. green) and if something is put next to it that is they same, they know it is green. given the two things separately though, the color blind person does not remember the color of the first and therefore doesnt not know that the second is the same color, green... my bio teacher went on a 50 minute tangent about this last week. we were learning about telophase 2 in meiosis. dont ask.

now i understand why i could never do those optical illusion hidden image things.
