most color blindness is actually not related to the eyes it has something to do with the inability of the brain to remember colors- apparently most color blind people can see color (ex. green) and if something is put next to it that is they same, they know it is green. given the two things separately though, the color blind person does not remember the color of the first and therefore doesnt not know that the second is the same color, green... my bio teacher went on a 50 minute tangent about this last week. we were learning about telophase 2 in meiosis. dont ask.
