Hey newschoolers,

Im in college and i have a engineering project to develop and i am in a big brainstorming mode.

Feel free to post your idea(s) of a project that could lead to an innovation it would be great!

Best regards,

kebbek

holy vague... can you narrow it down or are you allowed to design just anything in this course?

It's a project in team of 4 on a period of 5 months. It has to be thought, designed and built in a relatively tight budget.

It can be anything between a bridge to a robot..

Any other questions?

Thx

Not about to drop all of my world shaking innovations in this thread... But I'll help brain storm if we get some more details in this bitch. What type of engineering are you studying? What do you like to do? Where do you live/ go to school?

Lets say something important that i have not mentioned mechanical engineering. Anything that is mechanically oriented and has to do with any physics notions. I live in Canada, Quebec and here we have a 2 years pre-universitary college to prepare us for a great university baccalaureate.

Haha, this could be a very potent but how could teachers accept our entry?Btw here in Canada we don't have this drug transportation problem :P

Lets keep in mind that it's a long term project... though a big windmill that is very efficient could be great. Here we have physic's topics: aerodynamics and electricity. noted!ThankYaw

Obviously i have thought many times about this but i need to find out what are the physics behing a ski or a binding...Thanks mate

Build a remote control car that can run off solar power so it doesn't need batteries. I fucking hate how I always find remote control cars at my friends' houses but I can't find any batteries for them....

Our capstone team project placed a windmill "farm" on the roof of a building in Columbus, OH. We were able to power the entire building, plus fed some back into the grid for profit. Lot of room for green technology design, teachers eat it up.
