Wouldn't say fluid. He did stop first for a second at the top of the line and then for another three seconds before his 7. Definitely cool though! Good to see some trickery in these kind of comps
 
I wish they had videos of the tops runs from yesterday. Spencer Brinson aka CHOPS ended up in 4th place. want to see what he threw.
 
Is there somewhere where they have highlights or something from this, cause I wanna see everybody's runs. That was so good.
 
Not sure how many big mountain comps you watch, (not saying you don't, it could be your thing) but that was pretty fluid. Lots of guys stop, scope, slide etc. a lot more than that in their runs for sure.

So sick Colin. That's insane.
 
I'm rooting for Lars and Crystal Wright. But I want to see what CC throws and hope someone else goes for style points too.
 
didnt find it that impressive? was a sick 7 but not a very impressive big mountain run...

just my opinion no hate on colin he's killin it.

Brinson's run yesterday wasn't too tech as far as line choice goes, but it was really fast and fluid, and he stomped a 3 mid run
 
that wasnt really hate, he was just saying he stopped a couple times. which is true.

POV was gnarly, i couldnt imagine hucking a 7 off a cliff that big, soo much balls to do that.
 
evidently he just sent a big 180 mid line. +K to the first person to find that run somewhere online and post it up!

That was sick,As someone who doesn't get a chance to watch big mountain competitions but would like to more - don't they get a chance to scope their runs beforehand and thus not need to stop so much in the competition?
 
yeah they do get to scope their lines and really good skiers can ski runs without stopping. but if you are about to huck a 7 you better be damn positive that you are taking off at the right spot. its alot harder to tell where you are when you are in a line looking down and in most venues the consequences of sending a cliff a the wrong spot can be huge.
