^ and your post doesn't make you look like a babbling moron at all.
I hate how all you political activist self rightous hemp wearing kids put on a Che Guevara shirt and think you're different and rebelious because you're wearing a shirt with a communist on it in a capitalist society. Guess what, YOU'RE NOT! Che Guevara is like fucking Napoleon Dynamite, pretty soon we're gonna start seeing Che Guevara shirts in the novelty clothing section of Target. The fact is its trendy to wear a Che Guevara shirt.
On a different note, I HATE COMMUNISTS! and don't tell me im ignorant because I'm not, Im probably from the most liberal town in the country, where anyone who doesn't bash the president and Republicans gets stoned to death. On top of that, my very own late grandfather, who i loved very much was one of the premier leaders of communist activists in Canada. Bearing that in mind, i say that people who think Communism would be great are forgetting two things:
1.)OUr entire way of life would be thrown down the drain. Simply put, in a communist society, there is no room for the pursuit of individual happiness. You can be happy, but you would live the way everyone else does. In the same house, wearing the same clothes, eating the same food. Without competition in the market we wouldn't have any choice of private or personal items, and while you may say this is superficial, think for a moment what the world would be like if there was only one type of car that everyone owned, one type of shoes, one type of house. It would be boring, everyone would be the same and we would say goodbye to a piece of our humanity.
2.) The second thing pro communists forget to take into account is that in a communist society, in which no one gets paid anything to do their jobs (or everyone gets paid the same amount) there is no reason for anyone to strive to do a good job at what they're doing. If there is no incentive to push for innovation and progress, then innovation and progress will be left behind. The fact is, people are lazy when there is no reason to do a job except that they're told to do it. The only way a communist economy could function at the level that our economy functions at now, is if workers were threatened with torture and death if they didn't do their jobs well enough. SOunds like a great future doesn't it.
And that concludes my rant.
