Chairlift tricks

play chicken but dont even raise the bar just slide under it and ski away.

or get on with a bunch of little kids and put the bar down. put one hand behind the chair and with the other hand rub the bar and ask the kids if they want to see a magic trick. then move the bar up and down with the hand behind and move ur other hand up and down. if u get gullible enuf kids it freaks the fuck out of them. and then jump off and act like ur dead.

click the ppl on the chair in front of u out of their bindings rite be4 they sit down. or click ur skis off and then wen u get up top act like nothings wrong and start bootskiin down
 
go on with a bunch of novice skiers or boarders and tell them to go on all the double black diamonds because you saw them skiing and you thought they were awsome
 
i actually know a lift magic trick. its fun as hell to use one tourist noobs. (note: this only works if the bar is up)

sit on one end of the chair. grab the bar (with the arm that is on the side of the chair) where it is going up vertically (your arm will be going up the side of your body, so that the rest of the people on the lift can't see it). now that you have a firm grip on the bar, start moving it up, down, balance it in the middle and whatnot. the rest of the people on the lift can't see you moving it, so they will probably bug out.

this works especially well with the middle-aged gapers.

I was standing in line on opening day yesterday, the place was packed. One of the lifties started giving a huge ten-point speech on how to make the line more efficient and that every chair would have exactly four people on it. When he finished his long, long, speech I looked up toward the lift and there was the silhouette of a lone man against the horizon sitting on the first chair. His head was limped over and no one stopped him. The guy in front of me pointed towards the lift and yelled "HEY! What the fuck is that about?" and I chipped in "Cut his fuckin' hands off!" the liftie came back and yelled at the guy in front of me. Afterwards we had a good conversation and proceeded to form a four man group in the singles line. I may never know who that lone rebel was, but that was the greatest trick I've ever seen.
 
thats a sick trailer.. probably one of those most clever things i heard someone say about lift pranks is bringing all of those green army men with mini plastic parachutes and throwing them all off the lift at once
 
We have a T-bar and sometimes we click out, carry our skis, and boot ski up the t-bar track. Our lifties are cool because they just laugh or flick us off or things like that. Good times
 
at my local mountain we use one of those water baloon launchers and hide in the woods waitin for chairs that deserve to be blasted. its priceless to see those loud ass kids get hit and shut the hell up cuz they dont know what hit them.
 
just ask random questions, like from that one trailer ( i cant remember which movie) but they are riding the lift with a little kid and he keeps saying "im a big big air freestyle skier"
 
I got shoved off a lift once. It turned ugly quickly. It was a 4 man, an extra boarder sneaks on and shoves me off about 15 feet up into powder(I'm in new york, powder being there is the best luck ever.) My friends and I were screaming at the lifties, then i got to the the top, saw the boarders, I went to go have a "discussion" with them and the ski patrol grabbed me before I could move 5 feet. I think they did that because i told one lifty I was going to remove his head, but who knows.
 
i jumped off once because i got in a fight with my cousin and we were throughing fists and i hit his goggles off and we jumped off to go find them
 
why do you all waste your time doing things like this instead of practicing skiing, you need to cuz everyone on this site sucks except for me, i just became a member last friday cuz i thought it would be fun, i have seen some of the worst skiing i have ever seen in my whole life and the sad part is that they get good reviews. i looked at the top rated video and the skiing was maybe half as good as my skiing, it will be all right though because i am on a quest to make the world of skiing rase up a couple of notches and same with this site, but right now it is just the worst exuse for skiing i have seen in a long time.
 
haha me and my freinds ride up in the single lines and if me and a freind ride up together we pretend were retarded or something and just ask all these kids random shit like " do u shave your pubes or do u leave them?" haha or we yell at people bellow us cause our park goes right nuder our lift and we hafat ride ti up to get back to park and we see some kid eat shit super hard and yell "can i have your autograph" or u get snow on ur board or skis before hand then make a snowball and snipe kids out underneath you from the lift !

you guys got the good ones down. me and my bro pulled the one with 2 raandom people on the lift, hold the bar down till your like a foot away, this kid was fukcing screaming his lungs out, while the other kid on the chair and me are like pissing our pants its so funny, and my bros just sitting there holding the bar down. pretty damn funny.

and then another time i was riding single with 3 other fucking cowboy skiers, all in there hats and gay shit. they just kept going on and on. mad funny.

about 2-3 years ago at killy, there was a mini snowball fight between the comp people at the beach and the people on the beach chair, snowballs flying from chair to jump and back. mad funny. and fucking with the asians is deffinitly fun
