nyone fool around on the chairlift, I do it all the time. Jumping off with 180s, follwing the chair around and jumping and hanging of of it, not getting off period until the chair swings around, and chicken, whoever jumps off first loses
 
Anyone else do anything, or have ideas to make lifties lives just THAT much harder,

oh yeah, getting on the chair switch and kneeling while keeping eye contact ewith th e liftie
 
haha nope, but a kid at my school who snowboards hangs onto the frame bar and lets his feet go out. Its pretty funny looking from the chair behind when hes screaming bloody murder, looks like hes gonna die.
 
Jumping off is always fun, and gettin on way as the front edge of the load on is fun, and if there is a long outrun thing, get off earlyer than all the gapers on the lift and 180 down the down part
 
I do that all the time, try kicking off both skis just after the gurad under the chair ends and boot skiing down the hill
 
when you get off, hold your arms at your sides and straighten your body like a board. Then use the leverage of your skis touching down on the lift to straighten yourself. Try not to move anything and just ski away rigid as hell.
 
how about getting on with random kids and asian people and just talk to them and ask them a shit load of questions

why risk getting hurt on the lift
 
jumping off late and 180 on to the down ramp if its a high chair.. or not raising the par till the last sec like chicken
 
yeah jumping off is always fun and me and my friend bring fireworks on too like smoke bombs firecrackers mini morters and shoot bottle rockets
 
i always play chickena dn 4 of my frineds on a quad all switched spots so liek the perosn on the left ended up on the right and tghe rigth on the left and the 2 iddle switched
 
yeah I like just riding it and then getting off quick for as much skiing time a possible. but I like pretending to be from another company on the lift. also if a guy thinks hes really kool with park skis and shit i just stare at him.
 
it was all taped off and therew was no snow onthe midway when i was there, couldnt be done, ood idea though, wee need some real orginal ones, ive always wondered if you coul stand up on a chair or something crzy and jump off, or jump TO the ladder from the chair
 
fall into the saftey net before you get off it holds the lift up for a good 15 minutes while they get you out, and you look like a tool while you are at it
 
Play the mom game... yell mom to older women that you think could have kids riding at the mtn that day, when they look up at you you get a point,
 
i jump all the time. i push people off. i get hung from the chair. play chicken. all that stuff, but now the lift attendents are assholes and get all pissed if you do it, they used to be cool.
 
one time my buddy got ont he lift as usual and completely stripped down to some tidy-whiteys at the top and got off the lift naked and holding skis and boots in the middle of like 100 people. It was pretty darn awesome
 
i do this all the time wen im on a life and its so much fun,

get the the point on the gondola where its like, 245987 feet up in the air/above a bunch of trees, and jump off
 
ya we just ride up and last person 2 jump off wins. ( we do it on the ride up) sometimes we say we r gonna and just dont and then we laugh haha
 
I got off switch, just hung on turned around and rode off, some mom yelled at me for being a bad example afterards and the lifty laughed and didn't care
 
try standing up on a chairlift. one way is to put down the bar (*if it has footholds) and have a friend hold ur skis and take them off. then lay them flat on the chair (squaw has sixpacks which work best for this) and stand up on it and click in and see what the lifties do when they see you
 
ride switch up a t-bar. or on a chair lift yell random names at people and see if they look. i find that no matter what name you yell, everybody looks when you do it.
