Cat out of the Bag: Splice is Real

Yeah idk if he's changing logo or not I was just saying I read that earlier in the thread lol. Did he ask you to print up shirts?

Splice Media Group.

and, Splice Media Group and it's logo are under copyright, go straight ahead with the splice productions ones. I don't really care, I have one that are official and are free.

Srry for the dp.

I know there will be haters for the movie.

but what were YOU doing when you were 12?

were you making movies?

thats already taken too so im not sure how you copyrighted it.

I still think this is an elaborate pro troll alias.

But if not, I would like to add that you are indeed not making movies, so I don't quite get what you're saying?

So what have we learned? Well for starters, we've learned that Justin, aka Splice, is in fact a real human being. We've learned that he is a rather ambitious 12 year old who, unlike most of the 12 year olds on this site, spends his time being productive. Based on the footy from the premiere of "The White Panda", it appears as though he has a lot of friends who support his ambitious undertakings. I wish I was that cool when I was 12. I'm 26 and I'm still not that cool.

We have also learned that free t-shirts are in the works. But in all honesty, I don't want a free t-shirt. I want a shirt that costs at least $10 so that I can help support a budding entrepreneur/filmmaker. Heck, I would pay $20 for a really dope shirt. Joke all you want, but if I were a gamblin man I'd say this kid will be pumpin out banger edits pretty soon. That being said, I leave you with these parting words...

Slic3 Lif3!!!

Justin 2012!!!

Let Justin go to Windells!!!

This era in NS history will forever be remembered as the Summer of Splice.

Splice on lil homie...splice on!!!

I stated he was 12 because I wanted to show that that is the only reason his stuff can be considered decent, That IS why it IS relevant that Justin IS twelve./argument

sorry for the confusion.

I'm not really on board with this. I'm not sure why the fact that someone is 12, should mean that they shouldn't be told the truth. It's very obvious from these posts that the kid needs a reality check, to be taught about posing and claiming, as well as a lesson in humility. If you just tell him "yeah dude, that's sick, you're 12, keep doing what you're doing, it's awesome", i'm not sure he will ever live up to the potential you seem to think he holds. I think you would help him more by being honest, and telling him that the movie was weird to the point of being incomprehensible, and that claiming loads of stuff online does not make you a legit proprietor of a film company.

If he's told this now, in a proper manner, not just blind hate, there's no reason he couldn't become a legit filmmaker some ways down the road. But he needs to learn, a lot.

when i was twelve i was competing on the national level for rodeo and i won and got a permanent place on the prca circuit so i pretty much outdid you there

I thought i did, but i'll sum it up for you. Don't claim when you can't deliver, work on everything in your filming repertoire, because you're not very good yet.

Yes, spend less time making T-Shirts and claiming and more time practicing filming/editing. If you really try hard you can succeed but as of now, Splice isn't very good. You have a long way to go, but saying your'e 12 is no excuse for poor videos, if the videos are not good yet work on them, and present them when they are better and when you're older. You clearly have the tools it takes to succeed, nice camera(my brother is also a filmer and editor/photographer and he wishes he had something as nice as you), ability to go to camp and film professionals (most people can't do that), a lot of internet exposure on Newschoolers from all the hate you caused, and lastly what seem to be supportive people around you. Go out there practice and maybe you'll make some decent films.

All the hate is just part of getting started, a 12 year old who claims a ton and doesn't deliver anything for a few months and then delivers an irrelevant incomprehensible video about a panda isn't going to get much love. You CAN succeed if you know what to do, but as of now you don't.

yea if he actually came out with a skiing video when he first started, people wouldn't hate him. he just talks about all of the stuff he's 'going' to make

definitely into the mom.... and the climactic hand to hand combat scene was choreographed to perfection. but given the critical acclaim i was quite frankly underwhelmed.

when he was eating his cereal i thought it was a visual representation of his depression from not being allowed to go to windells academy

That movie has some of the best acting I've ever seen. And the set and costume design was far beyond other movies.

personally, i believe the brilliance in this is more so, that steve is running a well oiled marketing scheme for windells... hype'ing shit up pretty good.

I just got to Hood and dropped my kids off at Windells. No sightings of Splice/jared yet, but I'll be keeping a look out for him!
