just found out that the canyons delayed their opening date till the 5th...kinda sucks...who all on here is going to be shredding there this season !? its going to be eeellllll
 
ya thats way lame, i wanted to ski on thanksgiving... that means imma have to start drinking at like noon... fuck... me and 2 of my roommates and a few friends are all skiing there this year... im stoked to get to know it, its huge and i only went there like 4-5 times last year...stoked to get to know it better...speaking of do you know if there are any smoke shacks?
 
im sure there are designated meeting areas around the mountain for said purpose. im real excited to go check out the scene there as well...bunches of people are going to be there for sure! looking at the canyons team list is pretty sweet....dylan, kyler, giray, shidasha, wiley, stefan, B LEV the man! oh gosh golly! and rumour has it 4bi9 is lined up to make regular appearances as well!
 
I shall be riding there this year. Canyons has stepped their game WAY up and can only get better this year.
 
2nd year shredding the can. The park is going to be dope this year, all return cat drivers! plus dukey killls it at making new jibs. As for the smoke shacks theres 1 off dream catcher, 1 off devils friend, 1 above painted horse jib park, and 1 more off tombstone somewhere. Probably a few more i dont even know about, it is utahs biggest resort(acreage wise).
 
everything. i heard they had a JOSS style stepdown already half built. and a super dooper pipe. 27 foot walls.
 
yea i've heard tanner and his crew have built a gap over one of the natural halfpipes! not gonna tell you which one you'll have to find it first...
 
I will be grooming again this year at the canyons...anyone there know what they are planning on opening friday? I am back in pa now but will be back in utah tomorow and will find out what the deal is soon...^I think the canyons has more lift serviced acres although you can ski more acres at pow mow with the shuttle, hiking ect...
 
who is all going to be there friday? ill be there for sure with some white pants and mustard jacket...roll up, say whatup! names hennie...PEACELIN!
 
does that include the powder country part of powder mtn? and what about the cat service they have on the other side?

Powder Mountain is by far my favorite resort in Utah. There is no one ever there. You can ski powder days after the storm and the terrain is so dope. Back to the topic I shall be there tomorrow.
 
oh man... two more features from yesterday... i almost nutted myself on that down bar yesertday... was like 3 inches to short... i was sooo scared

ya i was there today too... was nice that it actually felt like winter... ill be up again on wednesday... hope we get a jump soon, those little ones on the side of the trails are nice though
 
which kinda sucked... pissed the down rail was gone, and that split level box was silly... i couldnt figure out what to do with it... i tried to nose press the little one and got fucked... i figured it out though... you gotta take off on the smaller one and gap to the higher one... gotta have some speed for that though but its not too hard
 
nice bro, pretty impressive for what we had to work with that day... p.s. talked to the t.p. manager today and he was talking about putting the down bar back in and maybe mini booter... oh gawsh
 
steve (the park manager) is probably the coolest guy ever. they will have stuff up in a week. its snowing!
 
didnt make it up this weekend cuz finals time ya know, saw on the website that 6 features are in now, did they put that down bar back in?
