Cant belive ski season is almost over

It suck, cant belive the ski season is almost over, This weekend it is going to be 75 at our home Mt. not closing til April 11 but after that I feel a depression coming, Wish we could ski year round
 
yep. my season ended 2 weeks ago.
its really just starting to sink in. waking up 2 saturdays in a row and not knowing what im gonna do that day is getting to me. lol
 
Yeah, in Poland winter ended like two weeks ago... and we had one of the worest this year. totally sucks. I don't know how it is in US or other countries but in Poland it's very easy to get snow for free from ice rink. So I'm gonna build a really nice summer set-up in next 2-3 weeks.
 
No need for the blues, you can ski year round! Here in the US you have Mt Hood, in Europe Saas Fee?With a bit more commitment New Zealand or South America can be in your sights. Either way, commit to your dreams, travel and become a ski bum! No job, no worries. Things will work out, you just need to get to the year round snow spots and things will fall into place. Fellow ski bums doing the same thing will help you out. Be a bum!
 
I completely forgot of the shithole NSG turns into over summer.
My season's over pretty much. I could be skiing another two weeks but its raining so fucking hard there's no way its going to be worth the drive. =(

SG is covered by questions about summer setups, and the videos are all kids hitting their summer setup with lil wayne in the background. lt gets depressing...
 
look guys, sommer isn't the end of the world. Most of the ppl don't have the chance to ski in summer, so get over it. It doesnt matter when the season is over. Its always dope to wait for the next season and watch all summer edits and gettin over-excited for the first snow day. Yeah, im gonna ski in the summer at the glaciers, but that isn't really the same. I just love the snow and the wintertime, cuz its the best time in the year. But there's also stuff to do in summer...
 
yeah, We will be working on our edits, going to liberty Va for snowflex, and Mt Hood in July i guess by that time winter will be near for sure
 
yea it sucks haha, my season has been over for 2 weeks. im hoping on going to mt snow a couple more times though.

I know theres backyard set-ups, and hood/whistler, but if we all had one of these closeby our misery would end. :)

 
Maybe that's kind of realistic on the East, but it will be a cold day in he'll when that happens out West at an established ski area.
 
Like I said, established ski area. I had known about that shit for awhile and I was super stoked, but I heard it was pushed back for financial reasons. That place will be 2 1/2 hours from my house, which will be dope, but it won't be open for awhile.
 
word, 2 years ima be chasing the endless winter. last day this year was absurd, shit stomping, bluebird, skiing glade, smoking trees with a krusty local, loving life. and now I'm in be post op.
 
got this weekend maybe a a little bit more skiing at killington but not that much, but in end of april, motherfucking tuckermans here i come
 
Monday's gonna be the last on my local, then a few week break and then up north for some springtime jibbin in the sun (hopefully?) , after that, i have no idea what to do...
 
We have Liberty SnowFlex, but it dosent matter how you cut it you cant replace the feeling of snow, so I guess we will deal for a while

Ha I love seeing people make these threads whining that their seasons are ALMOST over. Fuck you, my season has been over for over a month already. BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE!!!
 
Im kinda ticked that the ski season is almost over i wish i had a home in like chile, arantina or austrailia (mountainis part)
 
Mine ended 2 weeks ago. Summer isn't too bad. Its fall that gets me. When its September or October and its so close to the ski season, but the days seem to drag on. Even at that there are still a ton of fun things to do spring, summer, and fall. XC mountain biking, DH mountain biking, hiking, camping, going to the beach, etc. Not to mention all the trailers for the vids about to come out and a bunch of other edits.
 
Got 730" for the season at my mountain with a 197" depth on the top, hopefully theres some good skiing for another month or so. Last year got shut out of spring skiing because the volcano erupted and left a layer of ash on the mountain, that shit is no fun to ski in.
 
The best thing you can do when you have no way at all is to just have fun skating, biking, surfing, NSing... or whatever else you can do active. It makes the summer go 1000000 times faster.
