get the new JVC that can shoot in HD, its damn cheap too, only 4 grand, i think im gonna get that for christmast or eater or my b-day. i'll just find some holiday and trick my parents into thinking it's important so they buy me that camera.

4 grand is cheap? okay, maybe to some..but why the new HD cam? i'm not familiar with it at all except by name, but i don't think i'd drop 4K on a piece of brand new technology. i would wait until more companies had developed HD on video because it's sure to have some bugs or problems somewhere. maybe not, but damn...for $4000 i would snag an XL1 or even the PD150. i know the 150 is more of a jounalism cam, but i use it at school and i love it. the picture is amazing. it's used for many many TV shows. broadcast quality for sure. plus it's almost the identical body to the VX1000/2000/2100...all of which are huge with skating, skiing, and anything else like it.

the best in the price range for skating... even has the little handle with simple buttons located near thumb to get sick low shots
