When there's snow on the road, accelerate into a turn and pull your e-brake about 40 feet from where you want to complete your turn. Set your slide by turning the wheel in the direction you want to turn and your back end should swing around so you're sliding at around a 45 degree angle, which you're going to want to slowly increase as you get closer to your turn. If you start sliding off the road, turn your wheels parallel to the direction of the road and the back end should come around. By the time you get to apex of the turn you should be more than completely sideways and slowing down quite a bit. Turn your wheels in the new direction you want to go and release the e-brake and keep your foot on the gas and to come out of the skid. I'm not an expert driver or anything but that's the best summary of how I like to do it. Thats for a full-on 90 degree turn which can be awesome but drifting around gradual curves is more fun imo. Its really hard to describe... you just gotta practice. Slide around an empty parking lot on a day when its snowing to get a feel for it. I absolutely love snow drifting in my car its sooooo much fun.
