Can you do skids in a auto?

Weight transfer + throttle or braking. Sway the car one way then jerk the other with a jolt in throttle or braking and it should slide hopefully (If it doesn't you probably just don't have a lsd)...

AWD, RWD, FWD? If it is FWD you will probably have to e brake

drive super fast and slam the breaks. thats the best way to get a sick skid!

its probaly because ur a n00b and use a automatic. u normaly have to have super high up grades to do sick skidssss

Put it in reverse back and go back at about 10kph then put it into drive and floor it. Once you know get it smooth it works almost aswell as a bad manual one.

you need to learn the at of the Scandinavian flick.

IF you have a front wheel drive get two mcdonalds trays and put them under the rear wheels. Set the Emergency brake. Put the pedal down and enjoy

you can do it on a wet night or on a gravel road by just whipping it into the corner and accelerating.

haha in that first video rockjumper posted the driver and his navigator have a little moment when she says "you make it look soo easy"....

i have a mini van and i use my parking break on the floor, i used to drift into parking spots at school and they did not like it so im not allowed to drive to school anymore

When there's snow on the road, accelerate into a turn and pull your e-brake about 40 feet from where you want to complete your turn. Set your slide by turning the wheel in the direction you want to turn and your back end should swing around so you're sliding at around a 45 degree angle, which you're going to want to slowly increase as you get closer to your turn. If you start sliding off the road, turn your wheels parallel to the direction of the road and the back end should come around. By the time you get to apex of the turn you should be more than completely sideways and slowing down quite a bit. Turn your wheels in the new direction you want to go and release the e-brake and keep your foot on the gas and to come out of the skid. I'm not an expert driver or anything but that's the best summary of how I like to do it. Thats for a full-on 90 degree turn which can be awesome but drifting around gradual curves is more fun imo. Its really hard to describe... you just gotta practice. Slide around an empty parking lot on a day when its snowing to get a feel for it. I absolutely love snow drifting in my car its sooooo much fun.
