Call of Duty: Black Ops

Newest Call of Duty game coming out in November made by Treyarch... the group that ACTUALLY takes some time to test their games for balance and makes an entertaining single player is making the next Call of Duty and basing it in Vietnam when the Special Forces first were created.
 
wait treyarch and IF are different companies, didnt they split up or am i thinking of a different company? cause if i remember right treyarch did waw and IF did cod 4 and modern warfare 2
 
No lol, they work back 2 back. A soon as treyarch released CoD : WaW, treyarch started working on CoD: Black Ops while IW released MW2. So right now, IW has probably started making the next CoD (after Black Ops). By doing this, they can always have the next CoD around the corner.

i personally thought the online was pretty fun despite the all the dickheads running around with juggernaut and mp44. other than that, it was a really good game overall. It kinda reminds me of the old Call of Dutys that were just for PC that were also based on WWII battles.
 
but i thought they broke up and they release there games at different times so they are not coming out at the same time cause i think infinity has made the better cod games so far
 
I agree that IW > Treyarch, but World at War was alright, and this game looks like it has great potential. It has a TON of competition this year though, like Bad Company 2, Halo Reach, Gears of War 3 and the new Medal of Honor.
 
You seem to also forget the multitude of bugs that MW2 had when first released and that they still have.
 
better be "games for windows" available. i hate having to use a profiler to get my xbox controller to work with my computer, but by not buying an xbox im saving time and money.

I played cod4 a couple times, never bought it.

I don't see what the big deal, all the games see the same, just different locations and weapons.

i don't get all the hype
 
as it looks like now the modern warfare series is most likely dead because of all the drama and firings over at IW, so it looks like it will be treyarch from here on out
 
I think a lot of the developers at IW are banding together and making start-up developing companies. Just what I heard on teh interwebz, so who knows if its true, but MW2 put IW through the ringer with all those firings.

Personally, I blame Robert Bowling. God damn fourzerotwo asswipe.

Haha, only kidding, I think its funny everyone complains about Bowling, he's just a creative director, not an engineer or anyone who could manipulate the game to fix it. Lulz.
 
i bet it will be sick as long as they dont have juggernauts. juggernauts is the gayest concept ever and ruined mw2.
 
Black Ops is going to be more single-player. So expect better graphics and less multi-player from it.
 
yeah i agree with this, WAW was super fun, and the levels in mw2 (and cod4 for the most part) are pretty lame. i really think people hate on WAW cause its popular to resent treyarch
 
fuck yes! WAW was sick as fuck, had pretty sweet weapons and perks and shit, had dope as fuck maps, and nazi fucking zombies!! and a pretty sweet storyline. the russian bits anyways.

what does MW2 have? fucking akimbo rangers. i didnt even play that shit to level 70. i stopped at like fourty three. why? because its fucking gay as fucking fuck.
 
People bitch about Treyarch for no good reason.

Modern Warfare 2 gets dinged for the spawn system. It actually isn't the spawn system.. it's the fucking maps. Even on the small maps for W@W there are nook and crannies you can get spawned in and be safe. MW2... not so much.
 
ehhh i cant agree with that. imo cod4 was the best, it just didnt get boring. the single player and multiplayer was amazing and no one truly expected it for the most part.then waw came out and the campaign was baller! but i just seemed to get bored of the maps faster and not have as much frunmw2 i believe is better than waw and more exciting and a great overall game but cod4 still has my vote for best
