Unfortunately it seems like the definition has changed, and those who claim to be the most tolerant are very much not (at least in the old/correct definition). Now if you don't accept all opinions (or lifestyles etc...) you are intolerant. If religious people disagree with the LGBT community they are called bigots, or like in the ^quote their reasons get thrown out from the very beginning. I think this is very wrong.
I don't mean any hate; hate towards a certain group of people for reasons listed in this thread is wrong, but I also believe forcing everyone to accept certain viewpoints is also wrong.

In a lot of ways, isn't that what Caitlyn has done? Is she fully a woman? No, probably not. She will always have some distinctive male characteristics. But it's good enough for her to feel comfortable in her own skin, and, on top of all that, Caitlyn appears to be much happier than Bruce was.
