I think being trans is a choice and most definatly a choice that shouldn't be made

Explain to me why anyone would chose to be outcasted and bullied. And if being gay IS a choice, who fucking cares if it doesnt affect you. It's like that Louis C.K bit posted a bit earlier in this thread, they arent running around and fucking you in the ass willy-nilly

I would actually love to hear anyone give me just one credible reason as to why they're against her sex change without using the reasoning of it not being normal or religious reasons.

Preservation of mankind.

That's fucking dumb. So you don't like people who choose not to have kids and people who can't have kids? Anyways with our growing population, gays and trans are doing a great job or making sure we don't over populate. Yay for the LGBT community.

You wanted a reason. I gave you a reason. But clearly that wasn't your original motive to begin with.

You're just as thick skulled and stubborn as the "religious bigots" you point your condemning finger at.

Yes I am bigoted towards people who hate on other people just for wanting to be themselves. The difference between my bigotry and the transphobic people I am bigoted against is my bigotry doesn't cause someone to want to kill themselves, my bigotry doesn't tell you that you're less of a human, however people like you do make trans people want to kill themselves and that they're less of a human.

But to your point, are you against anyone who can't have kids? What about the people who choose not to have kids? Are woman less human once they go through menopause and can't have kids. What about every woman who uses the pill? Are you against them as well?

Also, this is a complete assumption but, they're adopting kids who wouldn't have parents and giving them a much better chance at functioning in society.

I would think you probably call yourself tolerant of different viewpoints/lifestyles, but you are crossing out "religious reasons" as a legit opinion. Tolerance used to mean putting up with differing viewpoints while holding true to your own.

Unfortunately it seems like the definition has changed, and those who claim to be the most tolerant are very much not (at least in the old/correct definition). Now if you don't accept all opinions (or lifestyles etc...) you are intolerant. If religious people disagree with the LGBT community they are called bigots, or like in the ^quote their reasons get thrown out from the very beginning. I think this is very wrong.

I don't mean any hate; hate towards a certain group of people for reasons listed in this thread is wrong, but I also believe forcing everyone to accept certain viewpoints is also wrong.

I don't call myself tolerant. I know I'm a cunt towards certain people. Mostly those who appose marriage equality, trans people, etc, etc. By all means be religious, religion does some great things, but don't use your religion to discriminate against other people. If you're against gay marriage because of your religion I'm against you eating a cookie because I'm on a diet. Same logic.

Just as I suspected this Jenner shit has opened up a can of worms for everything.

Now i see a shit load of people defending the rachel dolezal chick saying she can be "trans racial".

Trans species is coming, fuck you if you don't accept it.

I think most people aren't against him having a sex change necessarily, its more the attention and praise he's getting. which is exactly where i'm at.

Im ok with people doing whatever the hell they want to their body, but Jenner's desperate search for significance is in no way brave, like i said in an earlier post, its a first world luxury for him to even have this desire to be a woman.

calling him brave and giving him the praise and attention he's seeking is what i'm against. and now people who acknowledge a tranny for what they are, abnormal, now get to be labeled as insensitive, transphobic, etc.. its another BS "issue" we have to be politically correct about.

Are you really that upset about Caitlyn removing herself from the gene pool?

He didn't though. He had 6 children, not only replacing his spouse and himself, but adding an additional 4 people to an over populated world.

lol the dudes a fucking freak. being trans is a mental illness, its called gender dysphoria

Since (for most people) skiing on snow in the summer is not an option, I opted to construct a backyard ski setup, as many other skiers on this site probably have. When my neighbors come over and see the setup, they think it's weird and they're like, "yeah, but that still isn't skiing. wtf are you doing?"

In a lot of ways, isn't that what Caitlyn has done? Is she fully a woman? No, probably not. She will always have some distinctive male characteristics. But it's good enough for her to feel comfortable in her own skin, and, on top of all that, Caitlyn appears to be much happier than Bruce was. It's important to respect other's beliefs and shit blah blah blah I am really getting up my own ass with this. Whatever. Just ACCEPT IT AND RESPECT HER.

Tl;dr? This picture should be what you do in your mind:

1.jpg

I can accept it no problem but i have zero reason to respect "her"

if you feel you were born with the wrong plumbing, that's cool.

but I don't understand why people are celebrating this "real woman for having courage to know who she is" bla bla blaa on one hand, where on the other hand he/she is photoshopped all over magazine covers like it's some big glamourous sex change story.

like are you all for respecting the true inner beauty of a woman who knows she's supposed to be a woman but was born as a man, or for dolling people up with photoshop and depicting all of this superficial beauty to sell a story? pick a side...
