talk about the importance of motivating and empowering individual workers in your company that hold lower level jobs. discuss how for a business to succeed as a whole, even the most seemingly insignificant tasks really do impact the entire company. you can even relate this to a ski resort...say that your lift attendant is being an unenthusiastic asshole to skiers getting on the lift...for those customers, they'll associate the entire company with that one jerk. so as management, its important to make your workers feel like they ARE important, not just working a minimum wage part time job.
and for the people that said talking about skiing in classes is never applicable...wrong! its lame to write an essay or something on skiing, but there are ways to incorporate skiing successfully. i'm at the cornell hotel school, (#1 hospitality school in the world holla), and i plan on going into resort management/skiing stuff. so for me, its really useful to use skiing for projects, etc because....thats what i plan on doing with my life hah
