not too sound too much like I don't care at all about the defecit, or that I'm just outright making a statement backing Bush:  when was the last time the deficit actual was a problem, or was an effective hinderance to us?
I think the deficit really isn't that big a deal, we've been in debt since 1777.  Now to make a statement backing up Bush, He faced a terrorism and war, all that surplus and more had to go into fighting this new threat.  Whether you support Iraq or not ... the effects of 9/11 alone and then having to go into Afghanistan (which I think most people agree with), quickly wiped out the surplus.
Now to take a shot at Clinton.  The surplus was a result of over-taxing the people, as every surplus is.
