Burning Arches

First off, I know this should be in gear talk but im putting it in here for more traffic. But this season ive been riding 2012-2013 drop kicks, I would say i have had 60+ days on them and they still kill my arches. They only really burn when hiking or when i ski longer trails though, so i was wondering if there is anyway to get rid of this, or just ride it out and hope my feet take form? Thanks

Get custom made footbeds that support your arch, don't buy shitty trim to fit shit go and get a proper custom made Sidas footbed. They're expensive but 100% worth it and you can put them into your next pair of boots so they last quite a while. Also when you first get the footbed they may hurt a lot because your feet won't be use to the support but stick with it and I also suggets you wear them in your normal shoes.

Yep get footbeds, improves so many things including comfort, your skiing and can reduce shin bang. Had mine in for a few weeks now, killed at first but they are finally coming around and making a difference

Yeah you will get more traffic, doesn't mean that it will all be good advice.

There is a dedicated thread in Geart Talk specifically to help address fit issues with your boots:

As some have already said, your problem is 100% footbed related. Go get a proper footbed for your boots and have the liners remolded after. Even then, you need to adapt and get used to wearing arch support. Do not expect to wear non-supportive footwear all day and then simply put ski boots on that have a fully supportive footbed. You need to either wear footbeds in your everyday shoes (which is greatly beneficial for your ankles, knees, back, and balance regardless) which will help you easily transfer over to your ski boots without needing to adjust to them all over again.
