Bulking up on P90x.. K+

why u mad tho? i can put up 315 3+ and thats on my 5th set, i have a video of me doing 335 for 1, i got up to 345...that was a year ago almost to the date, and then my AC joints just couldnt handle any more weight after that, my friend who filmed the 345 fucked up......and again, i would like to know how u measured ur "6%" claimed body fat, and 245lb bench? i eat that shit for fucking midnight snack.....so much BS in this thread, if u wanna get big eat big, do heavy compound lifts, squats, deadlifts, bench, presses, use fucking free weights, and not machines...and id really like to know how u calculated ur BF

ummm no actually i had my BMI calculated from my gym. They take all your measurments when you first join and you can get them checked any time you want to see your gains. They have this like pinching thing that grabs your fat and my adjusted body fat index was 6% they had me come in the morning to calculate it.

Sophmore year i couldnt wrestle for 2 weeks cuz my body fat was too low *has to be 7% at Alpha*

And yeah 245 isnt mega bodybuilder big but coming from struggling with 95 my junior year high school i dont think its that bad. + im trying to keep my 6 pack alive while gaining bench.
 
Oh im sorry I thought this thread was about bulking up not about nutrition. I could give a detailed plan on how to be nutritious while bulking up but I honestly don't give a fuck. (Not trying to claim but I used to do mma and go to the gym for about 4 hours a day every day of the week taking a day off every once and a while. Did that for close to a year and gained wicked good conditioning.).

so they used skin calipers? and what skin folds did they measure from? did they use an age adjustment factor, did they use the jackson pollock formul? And that was ur soph year in highschool, how old are u now? im sure uve gained some weight since then considering u could barely put up 95lbs on bench ur junior year. Ive been a member of many different gyms, and when they "take ur BF%" its fucking horrible
 
Also forgot to add this is one of the most pointless threads on ns. If you really wanted to bulk up the proper way without doing any preeminent damage to your body talk to a personal trainer not a website full of teenagers.

Ive been the one taking those measurements at gyms lol, and they arent useless but they arent accurate either.

who cares what your body fat is? just go by how you look.

 
Oh i have never shot any real guns besides a glock cuz im from the hood and we dont use safteys.

+ Jaydope they calculated it last week as i stated previously. I only used the wrestling example for reference. And idk what all this shit is your talking about....they measured my body fat thats all i know im a 19 year old kid who likes to lift weights not some fucking scientist.
 
def not accurate, ill agree it will give u an idea of where ur at, but i wouldnt go directly by what they say, The electronic ones suck ass, proper skin fold measurements, and hydrodensitometry are the most accurate, skin calipers can be difficult to use if ur not experienced with them, u have ot know when to perform a vertical or horizontal pinch, and make sure ur in the proper area and such

you are more than likely around 8% which is still very good...but you need to get bigger before you go around bragging about your bf%. it just makes you seem scrawnier than you currently are.
