I've fixed the thumbnail tool and your Gyazo thumbnails now generate. You will have to empty your cache or force refresh the page for your browser to attempt to download the broken images again, but I've confirmed that the thumbnails are now being generated.

Thanks Paul! Got it to work now after clearing my entire browser cache.
 
Very minor problem here with your characters, I'm sure I can fix this my end if I can be bothered.

Your standard font choice isn't being applied throughout the website. I think either my OS or browser (arch and chromium) are just defaulting back to their standard, which don't have those characters. The fonts are wrong for me throughout the site.

I don't really care, just thought you might want to know. Or you could let me know which font you use so I can download it.
 
The splash page is showing a different picture than the one that's linked if you click in the bottom right corner. I'm getting Rachel Bock's pic of the mullet dude sliding the DFD (the one that was up a few weeks ago) when I think it's supposed to be the muted DFD, also by Bock.
 
^^^ and it's still in "my threads" saying I last viewed it 17 hours ago even though I opened the thread a couple minutes ago.

I'm having the same issue, with the "Let's talk about tattoos" thread in NSG. It seems to only partially load - the background remains that dark gray that you see briefly as the page loads up. I can't see all the responses on the page. It's weird.

yeahh! Thats exactly what was happening but now it's loading fine. Its so weird.

Yep, these are "attachments" which is when you upload a photo but don't put it in the body of your post.

On mobile, using an iPad Air on Safari with update 8.4.1, whenever I try to send a message it says Error Sending Message and if I hit send again it will send. Also, up voting in threads is extremely hard to do, I have to hit the opposite of what I want to vote and then hit the one I want to vote like 4 times

On the other hand, the new embed and upload are flawless and so easy to use on mobile, also figured out a solution for people complaining about not being able to give feedback or look at people's videos on mobile. This method only works on Apple Products, but if you hit the url/search bar and it pops up with the favorites page then you can scroll up and hit request desktop site, and that's it.

Do you have a case on? I used to have an otter box and upvoting was always so difficult because it was on the edge of the screen. The case was so big that it made it so hard to click the right thing. So maybe the same thing is happening to you?

Possibly, but I hit the up vote button, it will turn orange, and just stay at 0 until I hit down or then up vote again

Can you try refreshing the page after you hit the upvote button to see if it registered with the site even though it said 0?

I can't replicate this yet, but seems as though its correct. Can you grab a screen shot too please?
 
lol for some reason I'm on a mobile/desktop site hybrid on desktop and I'm tripping tf out. Home page looks like mobile too. It's probably nothing but it's hilarious right now.

it's working fine right now but next time it happens I'll post a screenshot in here, but usually i could up vote a bunch of posts come back into the thread later and the up arrow is orange and my up vote didn't factor in, until I hit it again
 
my icon is suddenly smaller in size than it used to be. The file is 50x50 and the file size is not too big, whats up? I've seen a couple other some other users with gif icons with the same problem.

it is happening again and I got a sequence of it in screenshots

first I hit the up vote and nothing happened, it turned orange, but the number didn't change

the internet was slow and a bunch of mod tools popped up on the thread I was on. I got very excited. I clicked level 1's post in attempt to edit it and it said I was not authorized to edit the post. I think this is a sign from God that I deserve mod-dom.
 
I'm running Safari on OSX 10.10.4. Sometimes when I load up threads on NS, the location of my cursor on the screen and the location of things it's acting on are quite different. For example, if I go to highlight a chunk of text from a post, I often find that different text in that post is selected. I often can't click up/downvote because of this. Generally refreshing the page fixes the issue, but it's pretty annoying.

This is still happening. I had to click well below the "quote" button in order to quote my older post. Is this actually a bug or is my browser weirdin' out? I've changed nothing, this didn't ever happen before, and this doesn't happen on other websites...
 
I have had the site crash on me quite a few times today. Earlier today I was gettin a server error page when I clicked various parts of the site (Anything could randomly do it) and it happened maybe 6 times. that was on chrome on windows 7. Then tonight if I click the news link in Safari on my phone (ios7 I think) it sometimes just closes safari and returns to the home page. I have not notice. Before so thought I would let you guys know
 
Every time I try to embed a video in a news article it doesn't work. I've done it manually with the [video] tags. Didn't work, when i preview'd it, it just showed up as a link. Then I used the editor and in the draft the video camera logo cam up next to the link(no preview though like the photos have, just the link). Then I went to save draft, then preview and it just shows up as a link.

I've preview'd the draft before a few days ago and the video worked but now it's just not lol. Help, I want to publish this today (: haha
 
Not a big problem at all but it's done this for a while for me. On mobile, when I'm on a members' threads and I try to go to the next page of their threads, it brings me back to "my threads" without fail.
 
Not sure if this is a bug, or just my computer, but on Firefox I can't play any Newschoolers videos unless they are using the new "producers program" video.

Youtube, vimeo, etc all work and everything works on Chrome, it is just Firefox.

Just a blank white square shows up.

I figured out my issue.

I was using the add-on Https Everywhere and had to disable one of the things called "Longtail" that was being used or something.

Try starting firefox in safe mode and work backwards kinda

I use the Https Everywhere with Chrome and the videos stopped loading for me about a week ago. Where did you find this "Longtail" at?

In Firefox if you go to the drop down menu and them click one the HTTPS Everywhere app things you get another drop down with everything it must be using HTTPS on. Just click the longtail one and it should disable it.

Im not sure about chrome.

Yeah, that's related to the HTML cleanup. We do not allow posting HTML on NS for various reasons. HTML tags like:

The reason is that users could post all kinds of stuff that could break or hijack the page, or worse. NS uses BB Code like most forums. HTML tags posted to NS are automatically removed. So when you post something like:

They are spammers, we're aware. We've been waging a "war" with them for the last few days. It's slowed significantly from when we started, but they haven't given up. We'll sort it out soon.

What exactly do they gain from it? Like I don't understand why anyone would want to do that lol other than to be annoying. But I feel like there are better ways to be annoying.

upload, alerts, and my threads buttons aren't working on the new header for me, but for some reason the messages button works.
 
The contrast with the new header is hella hard to read haha. Maybe still keeping the posts and forum lists still in grey or white would help better.

Screen grab and/or Browser/OS combo?

There was a small bug on initial launch, so also try refreshing to see if its now fixed.
