Bringing back the Lizzie

At the same time you can't compare LIzzies and TC's...a ~15mm wider waist and ~35mm wider tip/tail will ski completely different than the other.

Garret Russell was the reason i wanted them haha he makes them look so fun. starts at like 4:11

They were unique, ahead of their time but now the shape is behind the time, would need to be a bit different with people already being use to rocker, tapered tips etc. but I'd consider making a really buttery wide ski again at some point. Not likely till next year or later because so many others on the to do list ahead of it but definitely adding to the idea list.

Best would be for a few people that haven't ridden them in a while to pull them out of the basement and ride again for a day and post what they feel like and what they'd want improved. Sorry but always room for improvement no matter how legendary.

thanks for the help & stoke!

loving the resurgent interest in LIzzie and yes she was a very unique ski that changed a lot of people's thought of how a 110 ski could perform. The new TC ski is a fatter and very buttery ski but of course does not share the Lizzies shape but retains a lot of it's feel. We offer an SFB 172 for the skiers asking for a stiffer Lizzie and we're always developing new skis so feedback, demand and flat out calling us out is MUCH APPRECIATED.

Sorry guys im going to be honest, You dropped the Lizzie, you dropped the invader, you cannot say the mastermind makes up for it, your quality went way down, and you straight up sold out...

I would rather ask someone to make the ski who would do it for the cause, rather then the money.

We don't need rocker and tapered tips on everything.

I mean sure you could throw some of lines mini early rise on it, but with a ski that soft all it does is steal some effective edge. And taper, i don't see why not, it could help with the swingweight, I'm only scared of loosing the surfy feel. The lizzies is a park ski thats fun everywhere, not an all mtn ski that is fun in the park.

The improvement would be to make the 182 feel the same.

gahd i need to ride my lizzies, its been a while.

With the lizzy being so soft you will get rocker in 15 days of riding easily. Havent rode on lizzys but my arvs got early rise in 10 days.

Out of all the people salivating, 10 people would buy them. Ski's that don't sell get changed for a reason.

Please explain both these claims. I haven't noticed and change in Line;s quality, and I fail to see how they "sold out."

So I'm riding the A51 chairlift as I type. Brought out the Lizzie's today cuz it had been a while and they are too much fun. The butter is unreal. JLev you know you want to!

J lev, I actually remounted my 2006 1st edition Elizabeths center before this ski season started to cruise my PA resort Jack Frost Big Boulder. For reference I purchased and rode the Elizabeths as a freestyle pow ski back in 2007. Rode them for a full season at Snowbird and only pulled them out for west coast trips. When I got rockered pow skis, the Elizabeths sat in my basement. I center mounted them and started surfing around my little PA resort and terrain park and love them again. They butter better then any ski with a "Butter Zone" and carve as good as any ski I've had, though I'm 150 lbs and 5'7". Only issue I think, is swing weight.

My suggestion for a retooled versions, make them a little longer, 175 length, and reduce the width to like 135/105/132. There is no need to add rocker if they maintain the same flex.

One year later, and the people still want this to happen. Somebody, whether J or Line, make the dream happen! Nobody would lose out if the Lizzie made a return from the grave

You gotta think someone committing a mini series of skis would want to pre-sell this shit before making them. Nothing like producing for the "demand" which is all talk based on something that isn't made anymore probably for a good reason.

Make a long Lizzie/Jizzie, like 185, with the 16m turn and I would love to buy, but I have no money. If he them for 100 bucks, I might be able to buy a pair :(

IF J skis makes some of the lizzies he should have a time window with a couple different sizes too choose from that arent created yet so only people that actually want a pair can buy some (like me) cause i would love to buy a pair of lizzies in a size above 182

If you guys are to bring back the lizzies please have them in a bigger size than 182 maybe a 189 or 187 cause a 182 is going to be a bit small for a 6'3 guy.

the original lizzy was 172, not 182 haha. I think 182 would be perfect

Best graphic of all time. But there already is an updated version of that graphic:

They turned into my daily park ski and I love them. They are, however, getting pretty beat up and I could use a new pair.

Bring it back JLEV
