Brighton - My Oh My

Anyone been up to brighton (in the last few days or so) and notice that My Oh My is open? According to their grooming report/life status the park is open (and their terrain park site sheds no light).

Dying for some fucking jumps.
 
I would say probably not. I was there monday and nothing was even started. But good news is that majestic finally has some big boy rails.
 
there wont be jumps in there for another month at least. but the rails they have setup in m o m right now are dope.
 
Thanks guys, any reason they wait so long to push up jumps? Atleast they have some big boy rails that's for sure.. was getting so sick of their mini park set up.. first year here in Utah.
 
yeah pretty much this. It's annoying seeing my home "mountain" in ohio with 200 vertical having a full jump line with about 1/100th of the snow while brighton isn't even close
 
true.

i wouldnt say the reason behind their lack of jumps is laziness honestly. i used to think that, but if you check out what goes on at brighton you'll realize they rake and change shit up a lot, as well as build new features every season. its really about snow - they tend to not blow as much snow in the jump line and wait for the conditions to allow for the jumps. plus, most of the locals dont really care about jumps so that is a factor too.
 
see I just can't imagine that they couldn't get jumps up the first week of the season after seeing my dinky little hill on ohio doing it year in year out with literally no snow. Granted I'm saying all this and I'm really not a huge fan of jumps to begin with, but I just can't imagine they couldn't get it up.
