Breck pissed me off.

Lived in Summit last year, live in SQUAW this year. Parks in Summit are good. Lake Chutes in Breck are gnar. Besides that, nothing too intense. Summit is a strict park scene filled with skittles. If you want to get down, go to A Basin and check out the East Wall and other traverses there off the Pali area. If you want real skiing, come to Squaw Valley USA.

Not sure what to tell you, should've done your research.

ftw this guy is so rightt sorry breck wasn't everything you wanted and more man but hey you still got to ski breck so you cant complain to muchh

I know! Seriously! I can't believe the kids that complain about Breck and how the lines suck. The lines are nothing compared to some resorts on the east coast.

Be lucky that you kids get to ski in Colorado.

SKI MAINE 6 INCHES OF FRESH IS A BLESSING, THE SIX WILL BE CALLED A FOOT, ITS BULLET PROOF 90% OF THE TIME, MOST STORMS END IN RAIN AND ITS -10 AND BLOWING 30 MPH ANYTIME ITS GOOD, IT COULD BE WORSE (rant over)

fun rarely. They get skiied out really quick on pow days because the mountain is smaller (for CO). After that Pali is a mogul/ice-fest and east wall is usually windblown with varying snow.

ya never really liked breck. Ya im spoiled and grew up on the colorado front range, but summit is just not fun. Way too many people and shitty snow cause you and 90,000 of your best friends are out there skiing it. Sure all in all its great skiing. Theres just better shit in colorado

ig·no·rant/ˈignərənt/Adjective1. Lacking knowledge or awareness in general.

considering i know

colorado is the most avalanche prone state in the us fact

the beer is 3.2 fact.

the weed sucks fact

it barely snows and all of it is wind blown there fact

its over crowded fact

its full of yuppies/east coast wanna be hotshots fact

the locals are ignorant and think that colorado gets the best snow, weed beer and people FACT

maybe if you left your safe haven and branched out like a man you would see. broaden your horizons pussy, you might be able to do some bc without risking your life and actually see what better shit there is out there.

actually stay there do some bc, then no one will have to hear you bs lies about your state, after you get stuck in a avi

I only ski two places when I go to CO (from NJ), loveland, and A basin. they're close to ym grandparents house, way less crowded, and not like 100 dollars for a ticket. plus from what i gather, they're good.

come to minnesota. 55 inches of snow a year, 300 foot vertical, rock solid all year. still love it though

why anyone would hate on Breck, i dont know. I have only been there once but it was so sick. Keep in mind that I am from Michigan, are biggest hill is probably 1/300th the size of breck... I would kill to be able to ride that shit on the reg.

I am a 10 hour drive from where i live in the state, but i am going to college near there so ill be checking it out next year for sure. Some friends of mine went up this winter, they said it was ill.

Go ski the windows when theres a lot of pow at breck. Its great cause its off of e-chair and literally no ones ever at e-chair so you can do ten minute laps. Also its slope faces north so the snow is in the shade. Umm so bomb

Its sick :) If you are going to school there, jump on the $100 pass day in the beginning of December (if they still have it).

As for the OP - Breck and Key don't have super sick terrian on an everyday basis. The parks are where its at. If you want big mountain skiing you can get a taste of it at the basin and bowl skiing at Vail... or the easiest solution to get a big mountain day = go to Utah, not summit. I stay at Copper to avoid lift lines and the trees are sick. This post made me giggle.
