I wear a 11 shoe wat size boot should I get...im gonna get the 1080 boot in that matters.

ya I used to be 'freestyleskier14' and had 700 post...

28.5 or 29.5 i wear a 13 shoe, and my feet fit in the 29.5s fine. so you might wanna get the 28.5's

but go to a shop first and try em on if your buying em over the net.

Hi, my name is Sam Caylor. And i made the above post.

if you're asking because you are about to buy boots over the internet without trying them on first then STOP.....go to a shop, figure out what size you really are, try on boots from many different manufacturers, then decide what you want. just because it's named after a freestyle trick doesn't mean it's the right boot for you

Abba Zabba, you my only friend

no no I not gonna by them over the inter net. I was gonna go to a ski shop. but I was just wonderin' wat size to get thats all. cuz I used to think that u were sposed to get it the same size as yer shoe. but it seems most people like em smaller. why is that anyway?

ya I used to be 'freestyleskier14' and had 700 post...

i am sorry but if you cant read the little label that sais what size it is then you are extremely retarded.

just make sure that the boot isn't too tight on the toes (you shoul dbe able to touch the end of the boot with your toes but not be jammed in there) and that you don't lose circulation in your foot when you have it buckled regularly after wearing them for a while (that is your feet will surely go numb with any boot cranked down all the way after a while, but make sure that it's a good snug fit overall). You may find out that the 1080 doesn't fit your foot well which could leave you with a big struggle if you skied with em.

'Because it's there...'

another thing to think about so you don't get them too tight, is yes, you want your toes to be touching the front of the boot, but make sure as you flex the boot (bend you ankle) you can feel your toes pull back (so they are no longer touching.

Another thing to try, is without a sock on, take the liner out of the boot shell, and put your foot in it. Slide you toes to the front, and have someone look at your hell. There should be about a half an inch of room from your heel to the back of the shell.

Last Week I went to Outdoor school Camp with my grade. My teacher was in a Field talking to his Girlfriend at 11:30 pm, my friend and I were suspicious so we flashed a flaslight in the eyes of my teacher and they were closed. We Burst out laughing I said 'His having phone sex'. So the Next Day I went around and told EVERYONE in my grade what happened last night. I said to them 'on the count of 3 we'll say MR. GIBSON were you MASTERBATING last night. My teacher we so red, it was fucking Hilarious

My Teacher: Yeah I Whack The Dog

Another story coming soon...

the best shop that I've gone to is Green Mountain Orthotics (and they are in no way cheap either) in Stratton, Vt. Most shops (and I have been to a ton) really aren't that great about getting the right fit, they are more concerned with are they comfortable and are they gonna get a sale. The best way to garauntee a good fit, is to know what to check before going into the store, that way you don't have to worry about whether or not the shop knows how to properly fit a boot.

add the numbers together like

26.5 = 2 + 6.5 = 8.5 shoe size i would still go to a boot fit pro at a ski shop it is your best bet

I would also seriously consider getting some kind of upgraded foot bed. The ones that come with the boot suck! And if you have the money to go all out and get the custom molded foot beds, do it. It will only improve your game!

i went to this shop, and this snowboarder knew so much about boot fitting, and twin tips, and bindings, it was nuts, he had mad respect.

I work at GMOL(its a part of First Run Ski Shop), they are the shit. Greg is probably one of the smartest guys in the business. He is very well known for being very good, right now he is actually flying around the country teaching other shop junkies how to fit boots.

Yea, the one thing about Gmol that beats most other shops, is they have a guarenteed fit policy, they will grind, cut, punch, or blow out the boot as much as needed for the boot to fit good. they do know there shit more then anyone else tho. a very knowledgable staff indeed. Pluss I can sell ya 4frnts when your waiting to get for boots fit.

I bet someone already said this, but its a good idea to try boots on at a shop, a VERY good idea. Bad fitting boots is hell on earth.
