Boner vs erection

I know how ridiculously stupid this thread is, but my roommates are currently arguing over which word was first used to describe a firm penis.
 
i'd guess boner, and then the scientific term was created

but i'm sure the first person looked down and was like "lol boner" not "well good sire it appears as though my genital region, especially the shaft of my penis, has been stricken with an excess of blood causing an erection due to my sexual excitement over seeing ms. perrymuggins wink at me from below her flower adorned hat"

how did you find that did you look up "boner" on google images or something? gross man, just gross. unless you're into that kinda stuff then i understand i just don't go that way. i respect you for coming out to people, it must've taken a lot of courage. but maybe you didn't do any of that who am i to say.
 
ill b the only one to give a straight answer well probably erection its more scientific... plus k+ for all the luaghs and funny posts
 
yeah I doubt people from thousands of years ago called it a boner or an erection, its was definitely called a hard thing
