Bobby Brown and his dubs

...then you'd go broke and not be able to afford skiing, move back in with your parents and masturbate furiously to the lingerie section of the sears catalogue daily.

Style is king.

Henrik Harlaut, Paul Bergeron, Phil Casabon, Jon Brogan, Mike Hornbeck, Kim Boberg, Lasse Nyhaugen, Pk Hunder.

I really don't give a fuck about the most technical trick if you can't bring style to it.

And those freestyle tripples - ugh...

You have to be able to make an expression with your skiing and you can't do that without some unique style.

Is the song pertaining to how Bobby is feeling about his support?

"Is anybody out there?"

Yea Im out here. Im amazed at how he has been able to come onto the scene and the way everything he does is perfect is so damn cool. Hes like a gymnast on skis. Style just comes with more experience. The way he lands with no sketchiness at all is what is really cool to see, alot of people can throw tricks but their landings looks pretty lame.

You would be a terrible judge.

You think people get pissed off at judging now. Imagine your idea of judging.

Not to mention PK was one of the first guys to start throwing a dub mute 12. One of the most hated tricks here. Might want to check your logic.

So this thread is retards from Michigan whining about how urban is as much a part of the sport as backcountry (HAHA). Sorry tards, Powder > Jumps > Rails > Urban is pretty much what sells in skiing.

Its because he is trying to progress the sport to new possibilities and such which sounds like its bad in NS's book. Same thing goes for b-dog and all those skiers that absolutely dominate rails. They too are progressing what can be done on rails. Bobby is progressing what can be done on jumps. I don't see the issue.

There's always been a segment on NS (since I've been here, 2001 I think) that has hated on anyone doing "big spins" lacking "style" (even though Bobby has tight clean style). These people used to (and still) evoke the name of Mik D as a comparison to anyone else (although now B-Dog, Harlaut, Hornbeck etc. are more often cited).

The funny thing is they used to whine about switch 9's and 10's and want only slow 180's, 540's, now they always talk about blunt 9's and 10's haha.

Its been said before in this thread, but its worth repeating. If bobby b wore pants 3 sizes bigger, and his edits were to wu-tang, there would be no hate. I guarantee it.

People think competitions are ruining skiing, but if anything its ns's warped one style mindset that is. Skiing is always 3 years behind snowboarding, but youd think by now theyd have caught up in the sense of allowing there to be more than one style.

If I were a woman, I would marry Bobby B. But I am not. All that aside............

Quit hating dipshits.....Bobby B is the man...he is just doing what he loves. Thats it. End of story.

Whats all this about bobby having no style? He throws his double tens and twelves with more cork than I've seen other people do, and always brings it around super cleanly. Maybe his lack of style is just him making everything look super easy.

my bad, i thought this was about his skiing style not fashion. He could put a little more thug into his wardrobe.

EndFragment

bobby is a ridiculously good athlete and shows that in his skiing. He literally has like 15 different doubles and has them all grabbed and stomped. Just because he isn't hand dragging or nose buttering into them doesn't mean that they're bad. All pro skiers are good athletes, but some are more on the crazy side doing insane urban stuff and whatnot, whereas bobby is one of the most controlled people in the air on the entire planet. To stomp a triple flip, stylish or not, first try on a 100+ foot jump is something that only he and a select few others can do

well do you think you could get sick of comps? every pow seggy i see, they always say "its nice to have no schedule, no responsibilities for a while"

i agree he should wear thug shit. that would be so dope 2 see a guy who can throw triples, dub 14's and 12's stylishly. i think wearing baggy stuff would eventually make him have better style

everything he does is clean.rails need work but most of us have no room to judge cause we can do what he does. so yathe guy hasnt done anything wrong i dont know much about him so i really cant judge either

It's not only about fun, ok their job is skiing, but money is still important to live.

After his career, he won't earn as much as now, so he cares about money as you and me. Bobby is this kind of skier, working hard to have the biggest tricks in order to win contests, and it works. Pro-skier doesn't mean that you're food is free! It's also what makes them live that's why contests are important.

On the other hand, judging is style is totally subjective. To me his part in The way I See It is just so sick. But that's true he is not the best at rails, so he does crazy tricks on kickers, does it mean he brings something negative for the sport? I would never go that far even if I know what you mean, he still has a lot of style, and to me style doesn't mean only smooth rails or butters or whatever everyone is trying to do nowadays, his Dubs 10 look so smooth and easy that it's so stylish!
