BMBW Predictions

Snowmaking looks good going into tonight. Especially with the low temps tonight.

The "park" at bm is just a flat bar with a kicker that is way too big and slows you down and a down round handrail with a shitty kicker.

Buttermilk looks ready to open. Most of the piles have been pushed.

Snowcat currently pushing piles on Peters pride but May not be completely ready

Ive heard piles are being pushed at bw by my friend who takes the road that over looks bw when he went to bm.

It was a good 4 day season.

Fuck, I gotta get out there today or tomorrow before they close back down. are there ANY features at BW or am I dragging myself to BM to hit some sorry looking Josh Boyd-made features?

yup. I have to wear two fucking casts

Finally got out last night. BM actually has some solid coverage right now so hopefully they maintain through the weekend meltdown.

Sorry about the injury the fish, sometimes the small falls do the most damage.

What's the park at brandywine look like?

wondering the same thing. My gut tells me that there's not much set up since its about to warm up for a few days.

gonna beg my parents to let me come out and film. Maybe a sick ski edit will show bmbw that its not all about snowboarding.

What's the park like at bw. I haven't been to bw yet this season

As of right now there is a down urban, flat down rail, 2 pathetic jumps and a battleship at the end

That's a fucking pathetic offering for mid January

This season I wasn't mad at the opening day because it was only a few days later than last year but at least there was a decent park at the beginning of last year.

I picked the best season ever to get hurt

I'm out for a few weeks if its any consolation, knee has been feeling all sorts of awful. Probably have to get my baker's cyst surgically closed after this season.

I mean 7 springs only has 14 features up, by now I imagine they typically have 30+ easily. Tells you how bad the season is.

I feel 7s is base building and will go all out next week.

Just watch, they'll build a nice setup for their precious trans am contest, never allow anybody to hit it after the event, tear it down, and then return to putting up fucking shitty features in the park. I hope trans am isn't impressed and doesn't return

Also I miss rail jams, there used to be 2-3 per year. Now we get one if we're lucky and the setup is like 2 identical down rails, boring.

I'm still waiting for bmbw to put in some features in at both hills. I've emailed them a few times and they act like they need 3 feet of snow for a few simple features

They can go fuck themselves, mad river is looking so nice and 7 springs is building some nice, big rails. I'll be skiing elsewhere even though I have a season pass at bmbw

They started pushing last night for a park build at BW.

I have a feeling they're going to need a miracle to get anything decent up. They will put up some terrible jibs with a slew of excuses.

Snow report says prog park is open. That's good enough for me because I need to start on easy features

As of last night(Thursday), prog park was just a couple roller jumps and no rails.

Mad river is fucking prime right now, their new setup is great. Springs building good stuff in The Alley

Alpine valley has a full park rn...

does bw not? I'm coming home next weekend, was finally looking forward to skiing bw ( I don't know why) but I might just pick up my sticks and turn right back around...

1/17 update.....BW has some rails up finally. Nothing crazy big, but honestly I like it that way. Everything is fun and hittable. Not really any jumps. A super small table top, that's it. Fun laps right now. Looks like they're sticking to the rail line on the left side formula. Which I don't like, but whatever.

Well I see the long tube is up, if its in good shape that's all I'll need to have a good time.

2 weeks till new xrays. The broken radius feels great but my chipped ulna still hurts. Hoping winter stays till mid March so I can get out there.

I made it up Brandywine last night, and i must say, that park is super on point. The jump is nice and poppy, you have a nice variety of rails, good work park crew.

There is a flat down made from two double barrel rail. An urban on tall single barrel. And down from those a square bar up to a small gap to down square bar. "A"frame style. That one is a bit intimidating for me, but there were a few dudes hitting it last night. Supposedly plans to put the dfd in soon, but the pads aren't pushed yet.

Going to the doc monday for xrays on my arms. They are pretty pain free when moving them. Hoping its only another couple weeks.

1/30 update..... Park seems pretty much fully built. Two jumps on the left. Second jump is sweet! Big step up/over style. Down side is you have to skip the first jump to have enough speed to clear the 2nd. It's about 35ish lip to knuckle? Maybe bigger? One of the bigger jumps I've seen there in awhile. A bunch of rails and the DFD is in too. Only weird thing is the bottom run out to the lift is littered with little pipe bonks and stuff. It's like a little junkyard down there. Haha. There is still lots of room on the right for more features. So let's hope they keep adding new stuff. But for now I give it a thumbs up.

Think they will keep the same set up for Tell A Friends tour or switch it up?

Any hype for Tell A Friend tour?
