I was there last weekend, it was looking really bad sat and sun. Hope the snow lasts until you can get back on the snow a bit.

I hope, I just started skiing again after a 3 week break. Trying to at least get enough days on my pass to make it worth it

Im sorry that this is off topic but next saturday on my first day back im skiing with this girl that ive liked for a while (almost 2 years). I know i wont be able to date her but I feel like i need to tell her because its been driving me crazy. I am trying to get her out of my head and move on. She is always super busy and stuff so we rarely can coordinate schedules and meet up. Any advice. It will be during midnight madness btw.
 
Well buddy my advice.....if you don't think it can work out, then nothing good is going to come from telling her you're into her. It will just make it awkward and uncomfortable for everyone involved. And everyday going forward she's gonna be weird around you. Who knows, in a year or so you two may find yourselves on silmilar paths and it may work out then? Leave it alone and just be cool with her and be her friend if that's all it can be now. Trust me, girls are WAY more into guys like that, than the sappy, "I've loved you forever " guys.

You're not missing much man, it seems last weeks melt has hit brandywine particularly hard. Park was in pitiful shape. As usual, a kid fell on the only feature I was enjoying and it took ski patrol 30-40 minutes to cart his sorry ass off the hill. God damn brandywine.
 
When I broke my wrist I hauled myself to ski patrol myself even though i was in extreme pain. Some kids just don't have toughness.
 
High of 10 for saturday... Low of 2... I think ill pass on skiing😂. I don't even think my wax will work in those temps. Last year i went when there was a windchill of -10 and i was literally pushing myself down outer limits.

Sticky rails have been a huge problem lately since the temps have been swinging from cold to warm so quickly and so often

Also does anybody know wtf is going on with the park? Looks like they've been systematically removing features throughout the week as the snow falls. With it being Thursday I highly doubt they're doing any sort of build before the weekend. Are they just gonna leave the gutted remains of the park for us this weekend? I should just go to springs...

I can't tell very well from the snow can but it looks like the up rail is gone, the first tier of rails has been replaced with much smaller rails

I hope they do a rebuild before tomorrow with a mix of hard and easy features. I just don't see them doing a build on a Friday night

It wont happen this weekend. I'll be at bw in a few hrs, will post on what features are still up.
 
The park at bw isn't in the best shape, they built a fucking sharp, spine like roller like 10 feet after the flat down rail. It's so stupid. I came off the rail cooking switch, forgot it was there and was promptly launched to Mars switch. Fucking Brandywine

That wasn't built. That is the groomers being lazy and not pushing out that snowmaking pile. I did that too. My wrists would have been broken again if I didn't have my wrist guards on.
 
Also the way they have the old rust belt rail is so bad it's actually hilarious. You take a solid 1.5+ foot drop onto the rail. Mind you its a large up rail you're supposed to hit fast

I've basically stagnated in terms of progression for years now because brandy wines features are always so jank and unsafe to try bigger tricks on. I need to go somewhere else

It got fast. The jumps were so nice today. All the issues from yesterday are fixed now. I had the most fun ive ever had skiing today almost.

You guys should come to snow trails tomorrow, the park is so prime right now, its been grooming out super well since the natural snow and we made some freshies in there. 13 rails and 3 awesome jumps, 25' 30' and 35'. check out @st_thewoods in insta i put up a picture today of some stuff in there

Damn that looks so good. I would come down if my knee was in better shape. You guys have been doing a great job these last couple seasons
 
thanks, definitely appreciate that, its been super hard to find a balance of what EVERYONE can enjoy, i think were starting to fugure it out haha

It would be dope if we took bmbw's entire staff and management and had you guys take it over.
 
I'll be skiing mad river for a couple weekends, so stoked to ski some real rails that hopefully aren't as sucky as bw's
