Thats not this year. The camera froze in april when the snow was melting, those are what was left of the jumps.

haha I was about to say the same thing, usually they ARE the only people in ohio not making snow. But we'll see if they can pull it off. I'm still prepared to go to snow trails tomorrow

We all know how stingy bmbw is with the snowblowing. If they're blowing snow these 2 nights with all of the upcoming warm weather predicted, I feel like they might be trying to do something with it

If they open sunday for rails then I will run half a marathon with my skis on my back to get there. My parents are out that day and nobody near me skis park.
 
Maybe they will make a park at brandywine over break like mayday 2 years ago. That is a good point about how they hate to spend money. Weather looks kinda good for first full week of january I think. I used to have no hope but tnite has gave me a confidence boost.
 
I just sent them an email asking very politely why they should open a rail park. Hopefully they will read it.

Yeah I'm pretty satisfied. Feel like I've been in a car accident, good old first day of the season.

So word on the street is bw is trying to have a rail jam/rail thing tomorrow morning. A couple of the bmbw park crew guys were at snow trails today and were saying they're not even gonna show up to the build because its at like 6 am tomorrow. So the rail jam is gonna be all time shit. I might just go back down to snow trails.

All this snow making is getting me hyped, but I'm worried it's all gonna melt. I'm hardly an expert on this, do you think we could see an opening day (BMBW, Snow Trails, or Pk n Pk) in the next two weeks?

It shouldn't all melt. For example, pknpk still had snow from the last time they made snow which was like a week or two ago and it was warm there. Plus I drove by both bm and bw today and there were some decent piles starting to form.

It is dropping really low to like 18 I heard on the news. It got a lot colder than foretasted. I only trust forecasting with precipitation that is out 2 days

Peek n Peak just announced a December 26th opening day. Of course, it's subject to change, but I'm still hype AF. Disappointed I didn't hear about this Boston Mills thing earlier, I would've been there for sure.
 
Snow trails has a muc better setup. we had 4 crappy rails that were barley in the ground. I learned some tricks in the quarterpipe they built.
 
There was a time where it used to take weeks for them to drag the rails out of the mud and set them up at BMBW. They had four rails on opening day....... It was fun......ill take whatever they give at this point.
 
Josh boyd was working the lift and as soon as i rode up to sit down he called me by my full name... Ive never met the guy so he must have stalked my instagram since my only photo with my new coat and pants was posted on there. I had a mask on and red goggles. He was chill though and did me a huuuuuge favor that im not allowed to reveal ever im pretty sure.

I know he stalked me because he told me its a bad idea to have my full name on a public instagram account. I am probably on their top 10 most negative comment list and he wants me to run their social media possibly

Josh boyd just likes how I am active with answering peoples questions but I tend to give realistic answers instead of positive answers. I don't talk crap to them on their instagram. I just give answers that people wish weren't true. He clearly wants me to get involved with them answering and being active on social media as long as I keep it positive which I know I can and will do.

Nah id say mid next week. They won't pull another stunt like last time. Plus the temps look to be a little warmer and harder for around the clock snow making like 2 weekends ago.

I would also think probably mid week but even though it won't be around the clock snowmaking it is supposed to get cold Thursday night instead of Friday like last time. Plus they should have some snow from last time (probably a very little amount left)

At this point im more impatient with Josh Boyd not getting back to me about a job he offered me then the snow itself. I atleast know I will be skiing next week.
 
This isn't necessarily BMBW related, but this thread is usually pretty helpful so I figured I'd post it here. I'm planning a ski trip to either Peek n Peak or Holiday Valley on the 4th; which do you guys think would be the better choice? Of course Holiday Valley is much larger, but I doubt they'll have all their trails open when I go. Any advice?
